IGNOU Admission 2019 - Indira Gandhi National Open University has closed the fresh applications for January 2019 session on February 11, 2019. The university previously extended the last date of IGNOU registration for UG and PG programmes to February 11, 2019. Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kasmir regional centre however can still make a re-registration for B.Ed programmes till February 25, 2019. The re-registration process for other programmes for January 2019 session is closed now The university had announced the results for IGNOU December 2018 TEE session on January 9, 2019; candidates can check the results using the link given below. The re-registration process for other programmes for January 2019 session is closed now. The re-registration process was applicable for those students who were already registered with the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the university. Indira Gandhi National Open University had commenced with IGNOU admission 2019 for fresh round of admissions into the January 2019 cycle for UG and PG courses on November 5, 2019. For the July cycle, IGNOU admission 2019 will begin in May 2019 and end in August 2019. The entire admission process including re-registrations will be conducted in online mode.

IGNOU Eligibility Criteria 2019
IGNOU mandates certain eligibility requirements for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The eligibility criteria for IGNOU admission 2019 mentions academic requirements which candidates have to necessarily fulfil to ensure their admissions into the university. Non-fulfilment of the eligibility requirements will result in the forfeiture of candidates’ admissions. Here, a detailed breakdown of IGNOU 2019 eligibility criteria is provided for each undergraduate and postgraduate course. Candidates are advised to go through these requirements for their desired courses carefully and ensure that they fulfill each of these to secure their IGNOU 2019 admission.
IGNOU 2019 Eligibility Criteria - Postgraduate Courses
Candidates require a B.Sc. (Home Science) specialization in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition.
Candidates with a PG Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition or B.Sc. graduates or equivalent like BHHS, MBBS, etc. from the following streams – Life Science, Microbiology, Medical, Home Science/ Food Science and Technology, Catering, Pharmaceutical along with a DNHE/CFN/CNCC offered by IGNOU (Simultaneous admission for CNCC/CFN is also allowed) are also eligible.
To be eligible, candidates need a bachelor’s degree or a higher degree from a recognised university.
Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with specialization in subjects like Child Development, Human Development and Family Studies, Child Development and Family Relationships, Human Development and Childhood Studies, Psychology, Home Science, Social Work, Medicine or other allied disciplines. Allied disciplines include Sociology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Education, MBBS or equivalent qualification in Unani, Ayurveda, Nursing, Siddha or Homeopathy Medicines, Nursing etc. from a recognized University are eligible.
A bachelor’s degree along with a higher degree in any of the aforementioned subjects or Bachelor’s Degree along with a PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from a recognized University will also be accepted for admissions into the course.
Category 1: Candidates who have done BTS/BA(Tourism)/B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration(BHM)/ Bachelor’s in Hotel Management (approved by AICTE)/ graduation in any field with a Diploma in Tourism recognized in the University system or by AICTE are eligible.
Category 2: Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any field are eligible, but they will have to pass four extra tourism foundation courses during the course of their study.

Candidates need no formal education. They need to be at least 18 years of age.
Bachelors of Education
Candidates need to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation and/or post graduation in Sciences/Commerce/Humanity/Social Sciences. Candidates with a Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Mathematics and Science with 55% marks or any other equivalent qualification.
Along with the aforementioned qualification, candidates also require to be trained in-service teachers in elementary education. Or they should have completed a teacher education programme through face-to-face mode which is recognized by NCTE.
There will be a relaxation of 5% in the eligibility requirements for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD categories. Relaxations will be given to Kashmiri migrants and war widow candidates as per the rules of the university.
B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) (BScN(PB)
To be eligible, candidates who have cleared their 10+2 with a Diploma of three years in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with at least two years of experience in the profession. (Male nurses or nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme should possess a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).
Candidates who have cleared their 10th class (matriculation) or its equivalent with a diploma of three years in General Nursing and Midwifery with at least five years of experience in the profession. (Male nurses or nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme should possess a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).
IGNOU Registration 2019
For admission in IGNOU 2019, the application process is being conducted in online mode. The registration process for January 2019 cycle is closed now. For July 2019 cycle, the forms will be available from May 2019 to August 2019. The re-registration process for January 2019 session for undergraduate and postgraduate courses is closed. However, the re-registration process is still open for regional centre B.Ed students. The last date of Re-registration is February 25, 2019. For the July cycle, the re-registration process will be conducted between first week of February 2019 and first week of March 2019, first week of April 2019 and last week of April 2019, first week of May 2019 and last week of May 2019, first week of June 2019 and third week of June 2019.
To start with IGNOU 2019 registration, candidates will have to first click on the official link. Thereupon, candidates will be asked to register themselves by entering the requisite details. Once the registration process is over, they will be sent their usernames via an SMS and email. Credentials such as password and username should be retained by the candidate as he/she will need it time to time during IGNOU admission 2019. On subsequent login using the credentials, candidates will be able to fill the application form, wherein they will have to enter all the asked details and upload important documents. For the re-registration process, candidates had to login using their enrolment number and password, select their course options, and submit the form. IGNOU 2019 admission candidates had the provision of using either of the means to remit the fees - credit/debit/ATM card and netbanking.
IGNOU Admission Status 2019
Candidates who applied for admission in IGNOU 2019 will also be able to check the status of their application forms. IGNOU 2019 admission status helps candidates to know if their application forms have been rejected or approved. To know their admission status, applicants will have to click on the official link. Upon clicking on the link, they will be required to enter the nine-digit enrolment number, course code and a verification code. After entering these details, candidates will see a new window appearing before them showing the status of their applications.
IGNOU Hall Ticket 2019
Candidates appearing for December 2018 TEE can now download their admit cards for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Candidates will be able to access their hall ticket for IGNOU 2019 for UG/PG courses in online mode. The hall tickets for term end examination (TEE) will be available seven to ten days before the day of exam. IGNOU 2019 hall ticket will be available only in the online mode; candidates should note that the university will not dispatch hall tickets to them. To download the admit card, IGNOU admission 2019 candidates will first have to click on the official link and enter their enrolment number and programme of study. After which the admit card/hall ticket will appear on candidates’ screen. A print out of the admit card must be taken out by the candidate and carried to the examination hall along with the identity card issued by the university or regional centre. In case a candidate misplaces his/her identity card, he/she should apply for a duplicate one before the day of examination.
IGNOU Assignment Status 2019
Candidates who have enrolled with the university will receive assignments and study material by speed post/courier/registered post. In case a student does not receive these study material, he/she should report to the officials of the regional centre. Completion of these assignments is extremely important for a student to avail his/her degree from the university. IGNOU 2019 admission candidates will be able to check the status of their assignments which they had submitted to the university. IGNOU 2019 assignment status will help students to know if their assignments have been successfully submitted or rejected due to certain reasons.
Candidates will need to click on the official link and login with their enrolment number, programme and DOB.Thereupon, a page showing the assignment status of IGNOU 2019 will appear.
Candidates will find another official link where they will have to enter only their nine-digit enrolment number and programme code to check their assignment status. Candidates are advised to take a print out of the assignment status page and retain it for further references.
IGNOU Grade Card 2019
Candidates who appear for the term end examination will be able to check the grade card of IGNOU 2019 in online mode for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The grade card of the candidate will mention important details related to the student’s candidature like names of the candidate and programme, enrolment number, complete/not complete status, assignment marks, term end theory marks, and so on. Candidates will be able to avail their IGNOU 2019 grade card by clicking on the official link and entering their enrolment number. Candidates who will apply for admission in IGNOU 2019 and appear for TEE are advised to take a printout of the grade card and retain it for future references.

Indira Gandhi National Open University uses a certain mechanism to calculate the final grade of a student. The grade card calculator of IGNOU 2019 will help students to understand how their grades are calculated, how much weightage is assigned to assignments and theory exams, percentages and their corresponding point grade and their qualitative level. IGNOU admission 2019 candidates are often unaware of the scheme which is used to calculate their grades. But with the help of the IGNOU 2019 grade calculator, candidates will have a clear idea of how their grades will be calculated.
IGNOU Revaluation Result 2019
Candidates who are not satisfied with their results will also be provided with the facility of revaluation of results. For doing so, candidates will need to file a request with the university officials in a prescribed format with applicable fee charges. IGNOU 2019 admission candidates should make a note of the fact that the requests for revaluation have to be filed within one month after the announcement of results.
Candidates will be able to check their revaluation result of IGNOU 2019 by clicking on the official link. In the drop down box which will appear on the student support tab, candidates will have to click on the ‘result’ option, choose a course and year. After selecting all the relevant options, candidates will be asked to enter their nine-digit enrolment number and click on ‘submit’. Candidates will now be able to see their revaluation results. Revaluation will take at least thirty days from the date of receipt of revaluation request.
