Candidates need to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation and/or post-graduation in Sciences/Commerce/Humanity/Social Sciences. Candidates with a Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Mathematics and Science with 55% marks or any other equivalent qualification.
Along with the aforementioned qualification, candidates also require to be trained in-service teachers in elementary education. Or they should have completed a teacher education programme through face-to-face mode which is recognized by NCTE.
There will be a relaxation of 5% in the eligibility requirements for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD categories. Relaxations will be given to Kashmiri migrants and war widow candidates as per the rules of the university.
B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) (BScN(PB)
To be eligible, candidates who have cleared their 10+2 with a Diploma of three years in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with at least two years of experience in the profession. (Male nurses or nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM Programme should possess a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).
Candidates who have cleared their 10th class (matriculation) or its equivalent with a diploma of three years in General Nursing and Midwifery with at least five years of experience in the profession. (Male nurses or nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM Programme should possess a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).
For IGNOU online admission January 2020 cycle, the registration process has just started from November 15, 2019. Aspiring candidates must register as soon as possible for all courses - UG, PG, Certificate, Diploma, Post PG Programmes. To start with IGNOU 2020 registration, candidates have to visit the official website and click on the "Online Admission January 2020 Session" link. Thereupon, candidates will be asked to register by entering the requisite details. In case of any discrepancy in the IGNOU admission form 2020, the candidates need to make corrections in the wrong details submitted within a stipulated time-frame. IGNOU re-registration is the facility of online application form for the candidates who have already completed their first semester/year of study and want to continue their studies further in the second semester/year. Such candidates have to re-register themselves fresh for the next semester/year by filling an online application form of IGNOU. It may happen that IGNOU 2020 re-registration is not available for some programmes online or if specified by IGNOU, then the candidates must submit their re-registration form of IGNOU at the respective Regional Centres only.

Candidates will be able to access their hall ticket for IGNOU 2020 for UG/PG courses in online mode. The hall tickets for term-end examination (TEE) will be available in the last week of November 2020. IGNOU hall ticket is released only in the online mode; candidates should note that the university will not dispatch hall tickets to them. To download the admit card, IGNOU admission 2020 candidates will first have to click on the official link and enter their enrolment number and programme of study. After which the admit card/hall ticket will appear on candidates’ screen. A print out of the admit card must be taken out by the candidate and carried to the examination hall along with the identity card issued by the university or regional centre. In case a candidate misplaces his/her identity card, he/she should apply for a duplicate one before the day of examination.

The Identity Card issued by IGNOU is a very important document and candidates have to bring it on the exam day along with the admit card of IGNOU 2020. In case candidates loose/misplace their I-Cards, they can apply fresh for the same which is a mandatory process. They have to apply fresh for a duplicate IGNOU ID 2020 to the Regional Centre concerned well before commencement of the examinations so as to get a duplicate ID Card in time. A duplicate IGNOU Identity Card is mandatory to be allowed to enter the IGNOU Examination Centres.
Candidates who have enrolled with the university can receive assignments and study material by speed post/courier/registered post. In case a student does not receive these study material, he/she should report to the officials of the regional centre. Completion of these assignments is extremely important for a student to avail his/her degree from the university. For IGNOU 2020 admission, candidates can check the status of their assignments which they had submitted to the university. IGNOU 2020 assignment status will help students to know if their assignments have been successfully submitted or rejected due to certain reasons. The University (IGNOU) will declare the result of IGNOU Term End Exams of June 2020 in August and December 2020 in February 2021. The IGNOU 2020 result would be declared online and candidates can check it by visiting the official website of IGNOU. 4. Check your result and download your IGNOU grade card
Candidates can also avail the facility of getting their results of IGNOU a little early than its general schedule. However, they need to pay some fee for that. For the early declaration of IGNOU Term End Examination result, candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 1000 per course. However, the early result facility is available only in some special cases - when a student has been selected for any post or applied for further studies. In such a case, the candidates must compulsorily submit the documentary evidence (proof) in support of the reason for the early declaration of IGNOU result to the concerned Evaluation Centre. The early declaration of IGNOU result is permissible only for the final year Term End Exam only.
The grade card of IGNOU 2020 will be released in online mode. Candidates who appear for the term-end examination can check the grade card of IGNOU 2020 in online mode for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The grade card of the candidate mentions important details related to the student’s candidature like names of the candidate and programme, enrolment number, complete/not complete status, assignment marks, term-end theory marks, and so on. Candidates will be able to avail their IGNOU 2020 grade card by clicking on the official link and entering their enrolment number. Candidates who will apply for admission in IGNOU 2020 and appear for TEE are advised to take a printout of the grade card and retain it for future references.

IGNOU - Photocopy of Answer Scripts
Once the results of IGNOU TEE are declared and if the candidates are not satisfied with the marking, they can request the University for obtaining Photocopy of Answer Scripts by paying Rs.100 per course. The request for obtaining Photocopy of IGNOU answer scripts must be made within 45 days from the result announcement date to the concerned Evaluation Centre in the prescribed format along with the fee. The DD for fee payment has to be in favour of IGNOU payable at the city of the Evaluation Centre where submitting the Photocopy form.
Candidates who are not satisfied with their results are provided with the facility of revaluation of results. For doing so, candidates need to file a request with the university officials in a prescribed format with applicable fee charges. IGNOU 2020 admission candidates should make a note of the fact that the requests for revaluation have to be filed within one month after the announcement of results. For IGNOU re-evaluation of their answer scripts, the candidates have to pay Rs.750 (DD) per course. The request for IGNOU reevaluation has to be made within one month of result declaration date to the concerned Evaluation Centre in the prescribed format. Demand Draft has to be prepared in favour of IGNOU payable at the city of the Evaluation Centre.

In the drop-down box which will appear on the student support tab, candidates will have to click on the ‘result’ option, choose a course and year. After selecting all the relevant options, candidates will be asked to enter their nine-digit enrolment number and click on ‘submit’. Candidates will now be able to see their revaluation results. Revaluation will take at least thirty days from the date of receipt of revaluation request.

IGNOU follows the ‘Credit System’ for most of the programmes offered by it. Each credit is equivalent to 30 hours of enrolled student's study comprising all learning activities (i.e. reading and comprehending 10, IGNOU Common Prospectusthe print material, listening to audio, watching video, attending counselling sessions, teleconference and writing assignment responses). Thus, a 4-credit course involves 120 hours of study and a 6-credit course involves 180 hours of study.
