IGNOU Admission 2018

IGNOU Admission 2018: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has opened its admissions for undergraduate courses for the year 2018. IGNOU 2018 Admission is a fully online process. However, candidates can also submit their application forms at the regional centres. Candidates will be required to create their user ID and password for registering in the university website to apply for Admission in IGNOU 2018. The last date to submit the IGNOU application Form 2018 for the July 2018 session has been extended to August 16, 2018. Eligibility criteria for IGNOU 2018 admission require the student to have passed 10+2 or its equivalent or Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) from IGNOU. The undergraduate course/programme under IGNOU will last for three years. Candidates can also opt for Diploma courses for Admission in IGNOU 2018. The last date for submitting IGNOU 2018 Application Form for the same is June 30, 2018. Important documents like recent passport sized photographs, scanned copy of the signature, proof of educational qualification, age proof, category certificate, BPL certificate, etc. are required during the application filing process. IGNOU Application Form 2018

Pre- Requisites

  • Scanned Photograph (maximum file size: 100 KB)

  • Scanned Signature (maximum file size: 100 KB)

  • Scanned copy of Age Proof

  • Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (maximum file size: 400 KB)

  • Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (maximum file size: 400 KB)

  • Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (maximum file size: 400 KB)

  • Scanned Copy of BPL Certificate, if Below Poverty Line (maximum file size: 400 KB)

The IGNOU 2018 application filling process is given below:

1)      Online Registration: First-time applicants must go to the official university website to register themselves before filling the IGNOU 2018 Application Form.

  • Click on the "REGISTER YOURSELF" button appearing in the applicant login area and fill the required registration details.

  • Cates must make sure that the username has 8 to 16 characters.

  • The password should be alphanumeric and 8 to 16 characters long.

  • After filling all the required information, click on the "SUBMIT" button.

  • The username and password will be instantly sent to the candidate’s submitted contact number via SMS as well as e-mail.

  • Existing users can click the “Log in” button and proceed to fill the application form straight away.

2)      Upload Scanned Documents

  • It must be ensured that the scanned copies of the passport sized photograph and signature is 100 KB each.

  • The scanned copies of educational qualification, experience certificate (if any), category certificate and BPL certificate must not exceed 400 KB each.

  • Candidates are advised to scan documents from their originals.

3)      Online Payment:

Candidates can pay their registration fees through the following methods:

  • Credit Card (Master/ Visa)

  • Net Banking

  • Debit Card (Master/ Visa/ Rupay)

  • ATM Card (PNB)

Application Fee: The application/registration fee of IGNOU 2018 is Rs. 200. Candidates must note that this amount is non-refundable.

 

IGNOU Admission Status 2018

The registration for the July 2018-19 session started on February 1, 2018, and the last date of registration is August 16, 2018. The registration for December 2018-19 session will be announced on the fourth week of June 2018. The Admission / Registration process will be conducted online so candidates are advised to fill in the important details carefully. Candidates can either enter their name or enrollment number to check their IGNOU 2018 Admission Status.

 

IGNOU Hall Ticket 2018

IGNOU will hold examinations for every course/ programme separately. The Hall Ticket of IGNOU 2018 is available on both, online and offline modes. The IGNOU 2018 Hall Ticket will comprise of the candidates’ details like name, enrollment number, exam centre code and address, etc. Steps to download the IGNOU 2018 Hall Ticket are as follows:

  • Visit the university website.
  • Click on the ‘Hall Ticket June 2018 Term End Examination’ link.
  • Enter your name, DOB and enrollment number. Click ‘Submit’.
  • Your Hall Ticket of IGNOU 2018 will be displayed. Save the document and take at least two printouts for further reference.
  • Paste your passport sized coloured photograph on the given space.
  • Candidates must make sure that the photograph is attested by the Gazetted officer.

IGNOU Assignment 2018

Students will receive assignments and study material from the University by Registered post/ Speed Post/ Courier etc. Students can obtain a copy of the IGNOU 2018 Assignment from the Study Centre or Regional Centre or may download it from the official IGNOU website. Students who do not receive the same, for any reason, cannot hold the University responsible. However, non-receipt of study material can be reported to the Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre where they are enrolled/ admitted.

 

IGNOU Revaluation Result 2018

After applying for revaluation, the University will display the evaluated result 30 days after the date of receipt of application. The revaluation result of IGNOU 2018 will be sent to the students by post and will also be available on the University website from where the results can be downloaded. Students can contact the evaluation division regarding any queries and doubts about the revaluation process.

 

IGNOU Grade Card 2018

Candidates can follow the following steps to check their Grade Card of IGNOU 2018:

  • Visit the official University website.

  • A link regarding the Grade Card of IGNOU 2018 will be available under the ‘ALERTS’ section.

  • The link will lead to a page displaying links of Term End Results and Grade Cards for various programmes.

  • Click on the relevant programme and enter your enrolment number.

  • Click on ‘Submit’ to view the IGNOU 2018 Grade Card. Candidates must save and print out their grade cards.

  • Candidates can apply for duplicate Grade Card in case of loss/ misplacement/ damage by payment through DD of Rs.250/- in favour of IGNOU payable at “New Delhi”. Format is available in the Programme Guide of IGNOU.

IGNOU Admission 2018: Important Points

  • Candidates are recommended to click the available programme tab on the Online Admission System, select the desired programme and carefully read the details of the programme including eligibility criteria, fee details, duration, etc.

  • It is also advisable to download the Common Prospectus and read the rules of the University carefully before applying for admission of IGNOU 2018.

  • After registration, the candidates must remember their Username and Password for subsequent login.

  • The original documents must be used for scanning and uploading in the IGNOU Application Form 2018.

  • Once the Application Form of IGNOU 2018 is submitted, the candidates must SAVE/ PRINT the form for future use.

  • Providing incorrect information/ suppression of information would result in rejection of application form as per IGNOU rules.

  • There are walk-in-admissions throughout the year for Bachelor's Preparatory Programme (BPP) and all Diploma/ Certificate Programmes [Except Certificate in Rural Surgery (CRS) and Certificate in Teaching of Primary School Mathematics (CTPM)].

  • Even though the application forms can also be submitted offline at regional centres, the online process should be considered for its efficiency. Application form submission and confirmation would be instant, and candidates would be free from the hassle of submitting hard copies of important documents and preparation of demand draft.
