The Department of Higher Education, Odisha, will release the Odisha BEd entrance exam 2026 admit card on May 27. Students can download the Odisha BEd entrance admit card using their credentials at samsodisha.gov.in. The Department of Higher Education has closed the Odisha BEd 2026 entrance exam window on April 6.
Students who are filling out the SAMS BEd entrance exam form 2026 must read the detailed eligibility criteria. The Odisha BEd 2026 entrance exam will be scheduled on May 31. The SAMS Odisha BEd entrance exam is a state-level exam conducted for admission to the 2-year BEd programme in different participating institutions.
The Reservation Policy formed by the Government of Odisha will be followed during the admission process.

Odisha BEd Entrance Exam Odisha Bachelor Of Education Entrance Exam (session 2026)
The candidate must fulfill all the eligibility criteria for admission into the 2-year B.Ed. Courses are as mentioned below:
Candidates with at least 50% marks in aggregate in a Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities (45% in case of SEBC/SC/ST/PwD).
Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology (B.Tech.) or equivalent with Specialization in Science (Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology ) and Mathematics with 55% marks and 50% marks in aggregate for SEBC/SC/ST/PwD candidates,
The candidates who have appeared in their final year graduation examination (Graduation (both Arts/Commerce, Science) and B.Tech/ Others equivalent) are also eligible to apply.
She/he must have passed Odia as MIL at the HSC (10th) level or any equivalent level / passed with Odia as a subject in any higher examination / passed Odia as a subject in the specific examination conducted by BSE, Odisha, of HSC (10th) standard.
There is no age limit for the course.
The Higher Education Department has released the SAMS BEd Odisha application form on the website. Applicants are advised to follow the processes mentioned below to apply for admission into B.Ed. Courses on the SAMS portal.
Go to the SAMS website samsodisha.gov.in and click on the “B.Ed., B.H.Ed.,
and M.Ed.” link available under the Higher Education Department.
Click on the "New Student Registration" button.
Enter the Name of the Student, Mobile Number, Mail ID, and Date of Birth in the box provided.
Then, click on the "Generate OTP" button. A six-digit OTP will be sent to the mobile
number provided. Further, enter the OTP number in the box showing on the computer screen.
Create your own password and reconfirm the same in the box shown on the
computer screen.
After Successful registration, the applicants have to provide their login credentials (User.
Name & Password) to enter into their Student’s login.
Applicants are then required to select the D.O.B., Social Category & Stream carefully.
Upload the documents.
After submitting the application, applicants have to pay the requisite CAF fees online.
After successful payment, applicants can click on the “Print CAF” button available on the left side menu of the dashboard to take the printout of the Common Application form and keep it with them for future use.
Note- During filling up the CAF, the applicants are mandatorily required to provide their Aadhaar Number in the required field. Aside, APAAR ID will also be asked to be entered when filling out the CAF.
In the Odisha BEd exam pattern, there are two sections. Section I consists of a total of 40 marks, and Section II consists of 60 marks. Among them, Section I is compulsory for all students.

The Department of Higher Education will issue the SAMS Odisha B.Ed 2026 admit card on May 27 at the official website. Students can follow the steps below to download the admit card.

Navigate to the Higher Education section labelled "B.Ed, B.H.Ed & M.Ed."
Select the tab labelled "Existing Student Login."
In the login window, enter your login information.
After logging in, download the "SAMS Odisha B.Ed admit card 2026."
The Department of Education will release the answer key on June 4. Students can download the provisional SAMS BEd answer key from the website. Students can challenge the answer key within the stipulated time. After the evaluation, the Education Department will also release the SAMS BEd final answer key.

The Education Department, Odisha will conduct the SAMS BEd counselling in different phases. The Odisha BEd counselling involves four steps- Filling of choices, release of allotment letter, choice locking and reporting to the college. During the time of the college reporting, students will also be required to submit the well-mentioned documents.
Applicants have to produce all original documents for verification only at the selected HEIs as mentioned in the Intimation Letter. No original documents are to be deposited with the College/University authority except CLC.
