Ask your question related to IGNOU

Yes, you can show both your D.El.Ed. from regular mode (2018-2020) and your graduation from IGNOU (2018-2022) when applying for a KVS primary teacher job. The minimum educational qualification required for a KVS Primary Teacher (PRT) post is, Senior Secondary (Class 12) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks, a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent. You have both the required Senior Secondary equivalent (assuming you completed Class 12 before your D.El.Ed.) and the necessary D.El.Ed. degree.

You also must qualify the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET): This is mandatory for applying to KVS Primary Teacher posts.

By meeting these requirements, you'll be eligible to apply for KVS Primary Teacher positions.

All the best

Hello,

Yes, you can pursue a B.Ed course in regular mode while being in the second year of your MA Political Science from IGNOU, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria for the B.Ed program.

Key points:

  • Dual degree policy: UGC allows students to pursue two degrees simultaneously, with one in distance mode and the other in regular mode.
  • Eligibility: Ensure you fulfill the B.Ed admission criteria, including minimum required marks in graduation/post-graduation and teaching experience (if applicable).
  • Time management: Balance between the MA and B.Ed coursework is crucial to meet deadlines and perform well.

But keep in mind that it is important to confirm specific rules with the B.Ed institution you are taking admission in .

Thank you

You can transfer your credits to IGNOU courses which are equivalent to your course But if you are thinking to transfer your credits from IGNOU to another college then the college should be affiliated to IGNOU but if it is not affiliated to IGNOU you can't hop to another college directly in second year.

Its a harsh reality but it is almost not possible to get admission in last year of BCA in any other colleges.you can apply to private colleges which has vacant seats if they allow you then only you can take admission in new college.

Hope it helps!!

Hello Aniket,

Here are some key steps and suggestions for transferring your credits and completing your BCA:

  1. Research Universities : Look for universities that accept credit transfers for partially completed BCA programs, such as:

    • Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) itself for the new syllabus.
    • Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University.
    • Sikkim Manipal University.
    • Annamalai University.
  2. Contact Universities : Confirm credit transfer policies, required documents, and eligibility for joining the equivalent semester.

  3. Eligibility Check : Ensure your completed IGNOU credits meet the new institution's program structure and syllabus compatibility.

  4. Documentation : Prepare transcripts, mark sheets, and a migration certificate if required.

  5. Financial Support : Inquire about flexible payment options or scholarships to manage finances better.

  6. Alternative Path : If credit transfer is not possible, consider lateral entry to BCA programs or online BCA degrees for a faster completion.

Hope it helps !

Hello,

you have to prepare yourself for your b.tech exams first because its a regular course.you'd have to choose one.  IGNOU conducts exams twice a year, so you can still write it after 6 months without losing a year.

IGNOU exams are quite tough to pass.its not a cup of tea that you can pass both exams simultaneously with good marks.in case you still want to give exams give more time to the hardest one .Schedule dedicated time slots for each exam-specific subject, ensuring you cover the unique portions thoroughly.

Hope it helps..
