Parul University Hosts the 16th GUJSTATE-CONPHYCS 2025

Vadodara-based Parul University successfully hosted the 16th GUJSTATE-CONPHYCS 2025, Gujarat's leading physiotherapy conference, which attracted a phenomenal number of 1900 students from across the state. This year's edition at Parul University stands not only for the academic achievements, but also for its complete focus on research, wellness, leadership, sportsmanship, and creative expression.

The event was graced by a keynote speech by the esteemed chief guest, Mr. Jay Thadeshwar. He delivered a powerful message on resilience and action, sharing how he rose from a childhood with limited support to becoming a leading figure in digital branding by relying on discipline, ownership, and a willingness to take chances. “Where you start is irrelevant. Where you finish defines your journey,” He said. “Screw it, let’s do it. Take action first, perfect later,” he added, encouraging the students to take chances, view problems as possible possibilities, and focus on checking for execution, not an idea. To conclude, he reminded us that true influence comes from confidence, kindness, and clarity.

At CONPHYCS 2025, the academic sessions provided students some diverse perspectives on health, compliance, and advancement in science. The Conference was inaugurated in esteemed presence of Chief Guest Dr. Yagna Unmesh Shukla - Chairperson of National Commission of Allied and Healthcare Professional , the esteemed guest panel included the Chief Guest Dr. Yagna Unmesh Shukla , Dr. Nehal Kumar Shah who is a Chairperson of GSAHC and Other Invited Speakers like Former Physiotherapist of Indian cricket team Prof Dr. Ali Irani , Dr. Sudeep Kale , Dr. Nitesh Bansal ,Dr. John Solemon, Dr. Anjali Bhise , Dr. Dhrumil Patel, Dr Nehal Shah, Dr. Megha Seth, Dr. Sumaiyya Shaikh. The speakers emphasized the role of academic and clinical mentorship in the physiotherapy education system as well as Evidence based practice in Physiotherapy management.

Over 200 participants presented their Research work in the form of Scientific paper and poster presentation. Apart from academia, CONPHYCS 2025 facilitated many rich relationships outside of academia through hosting numerous sporting activities, with students engaged in Cricket, Tug of War, Badminton, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis, and Volleyball. Students got opportunities to express creativity and culture through engaging Cultural Events such as a Photography Station, Reel Making, Dance, and a Fashion Show which were part of the evening events. In addition, students participated in Mehendi, Nail Art, Innovative Model and Anatomical Body Painting, to name a few, which only made this journey more beautiful and provided opportunities for community and social participation.

Vice President Dr. Komal Patel and Dr. Geetika Madan Patel shared their vision for the future of healthcare education. Dr. Komal Patel stated that real learning is not just in a classroom, or in a clinic. "Healing happens when science, discipline and human connection are working together," Dr. Geetika Madan Patel pointed out, and she articulated that CONPHYCS 2025 is an opportunity to inspire and motivate students to couple the same knowledge that lies in the pursuit of compassion, innovation with intention and skills associated with service.

The combination of knowledge, competition, sportsmanship and creativity led to great success for the 16th GUJSTATE-CONPHYCS at Parul University and also demonstrated the commitment of the institution to advancing physiotherapy education while supporting holistic and well-rounded development for students.
