Based on this rank the chances are less to get a seat in IITs for M.Sc physics programme but you can have the chance to get NIT Agartala, NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, NIT Hamirpur for M.Sc Physics programme.

Based on previous year third round cutoff the chances are less to get a seat in IITs & none of NIT offers Biotechnology programme. You can also check the previous year cutoff to go through with the given below link.

The closing ranks for NITs varies every year.According to IIT JAM 2019 the closing ranks for general category in NITs are given below :

NIT Agartala - 1456

NIT Hamirpur - 1288

NIT Jamshedpur - 1355

As you can see the closing ranks is below 1500  in most NITs

Yes it is compulsory for IIT JAM exam chemistry .If it is in syllabus but chemistry have numerical  parts which are mathematics only ,Without mathematics there is no science .

As a student of commerce you cannot appear for NEET. For being eligible for NEET you should have completed your 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. But Commerce stream wouldnt have these subjects and so you cannot appear for NEET. You can atleast have Biology as an additonal subject but
