To be eligible for M.Sc Mathematics through IIT JAM you must have studied Mathematics for minimum two years or four semesters in your Engineering irrespective of your discipline to be eligible.If you have studied Mathematics as mentioned above you can apply for it.

It seems like you have less chances of getting into M.Sc IIT.
If you are general candidate student then you may have to lose all the hope here.
If you are a obc candidate, you can get a new IIT like IIT BHUBANESWAR .

According to the eligibility criteria, for a Candidate to appear for M.Sc Mathematics for IIT JAM, he/she should have completed Bachelor's degree with Mathematics as a subject atleast for 2 years or 4 semesters. But if you have studied only 3 Semesters, unfortunately, you might not be qualified for IIT
