my AIR in IIT jam biotechnology is 805; Will I get an admission

Aniket Sharma 15th Apr, 2020

hi karthink,

It seems like you have less chances of getting into M.Sc IIT.

If you are general candidate student then you may have to lose all the hope here.

If you are a obc candidate, you can get a new IIT like IIT BHUBANESWAR .

If you have sc/st quota then you can get into Old IITs easily specially if you have st quota.

I am attaching a pdf for detailed cutoff analysis. This will help you.

Check here (https://jam.iitk.ac.in/doc/JAM2019_cutoffRound3.pdf)

I hope this answer will help.
All the best for the future!!

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 25th May, 2020

According to the eligibility criteria, for a Candidate to appear for M.Sc Mathematics for IIT JAM, he/she should have completed Bachelor's degree with Mathematics as a subject atleast for 2 years or 4 semesters. But if you have studied only 3 Semesters, unfortunately, you might not be qualified for IIT JAM.
