On June 8, 2025, Vivekananda Global University (VGU), one of the top colleges in Jaipur, achieved what few organizations had ever imagined; to take on the biggest single-day job fair in India, and generate over 1,700 job offers in one day. The silo event in Jaipur was not just a new benchmark in placements for higher education institutions, but it also demonstrated one way private universities can address the employment gap in India.
The NextGen Jaipur Job Fair 2025: A VGU initiative in partnership with CTPL and NextGen Academy, consisted of over 130 companies representing a substantial cross-section of schools. Over 5,000 candidates showed up for this event and made the event an energetic and thriving mix of opportunities, connections, and change for both students and recruiters.
VGU made history in India. How was this done? A big idea, well developed strategic program, collaborations with institutions and industry, and commitment to employability.
The Vision Beyond the Classroom
This mega event focused on Vivekananda Global University’s, one of the best private universities in Rajasthan, commitment to bridging the gap between industry and academia. For years, educational institutes in the country have struggled to keep pace with industry needs, and students have graduated feeling ready to work, yet unprepared to be employed.

Earlier in its life cycle, VGU recognised this gap and set out to transform its teaching and education to meet the needs of industry in a more responsive manner. Supported by a dedicated Training and Placement Cell, called NextGen Academy, and with the support of industry partners, VGU was able to develop a placement ecosystem far beyond the normal campus recycling.
Rather than being standalone campus placements restricted for the University’s own students like many of the placement fairs, the NextGen Jaipur Job Fair was inclusive and broad in scope allowing students from multiple university and college backgrounds from multiple sources across Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat and parts of Central India to find out more about the available jobs and opportunities to launch their careers.
This level of outreach was only possible because of a strategic network of partnerships. CTPL (Career Tech Placement Link) and NextGen Academy acted as execution and training partners and with the infrastructure to support large events as well as an active and plentiful talent pipeline.

Furthermore, by engaging the networks of NIIT, Manipal , GeeksforGeeks, VGU ensured that not only were the candidates academically qualified, they were also skill-verified and job-ready.
Variety of Opportunities, Depth of Impact
The fair exhibited a remarkable diversity in terms of sectors and roles represented. With over 120 top recruiters in attendance, including:
Tech: Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, 3i Infotech, Teleperformance.
Banking and Finance: HDFC Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, SBI Card, JM Financial, Bajaj Capital.
E-commerce and Retail: Blinkit (Zomato), Lenskart, TATA Croma, Livspace.
Insurance & Healthcare: Star Health Insurance, Shriram Life.
Startups & EdTechs: YouVah Pvt. Ltd., Hackingly, Quess Corp Ltd., GeeksforGeeks.
The selections offered encompassed all possible interest and skill areas -- IT roles and management trainee, sales roles, digital marketing, operations, consulting, and design! Many students left the fair with replicas of offers in hand.
Additionally, there were over 200 internships offered in conjunction with full-time roles, indicating a trend of companies investing in long-term engagement by training young talent at a young age.
Streamlined, Student-Centric Execution
The job fair was memorable in that it was seamless execution. The job fair was held at a central, publicly accessible venue on the Vivekananda Global University, one of the top private universities in Jaipur, campus organized so it would allow maximum engagement with maximum minimal chaos.
Job seekers were pre-identified and "mapped" to companies based upon their skill set and preferences. Recruiters had a digital dashboard to observe CVs as job seekers pre-registered, schedule interviews, and extend offers; in some cases, offers were extended within minutes.
All logistics were managed by over 300 volunteers, including student volunteers, student ambassadors, and faculty coordinators, which created an entirely seamless experience for companies and candidates including candidates navigation through interview zones.
In-person interactions allowed students to showcase their soft skills, body language, and communication abilities in ways that a portal never could. For companies, the in-person format allows for hiring decisions to be more instinctual and confident.
Making a Blueprint for the Future
The success of the NextGen Jaipur Job Fair 2025 rolled in the numbers with attendance per student in attendance. But it also laid down a template for how job fairs can be designed and run in India. At a time when graduate non-employment and underemployment is still a concern, VGU's “model” presents a scalable and repeatable plan.
The university is already working out the format to run this biannually with future abilities to make it pan-India becoming a possibility. The formatting also includes international aspirations for international student placements for students leaving Jaipur. The university is also working on an AI-based employability tracking system with technical training partners to map graduate readiness to industry and make this mapping an ongoing exercise.

Dear Prashant,
Doon University is best go for it. DIMS (Doon institute of medical sciences) is one of the top colleges in uttarakhand for BRIT. The college is equipped with multi speciality hospital. The infrastructure of the college is quite decent compared to other colleges in the same domain. Besides spacious classrooms and labs, it has a lush green garden with newer approaches such as Tyre garden. Labs are also well-equipped.
Faculty is cooperative, well qualified and experienced. Practical oriented topics are taught in a very efficient manner. The institute organises various events like trips, conferences seminars in order to upgrade the skills of the students. Both PPT and blackboard are used for teaching.
Hope this resolved your query.
All the Best!!
Hello,
It's actually too good. The Placement Cell works closely with students and employers alike to ensure the right students are connected with the right companies. The cell recently organized a business seminar in tandem with Ernst & Young as well as a corporate workshop with KPMG to offer students a feel of the corporate world. In 2011, the top on-campus recruiter was Ernst & Young, recruiting 50 students for various positions within the company. Last years byjus company came in our campus. And comapny select 10 student with the stipend of 10 lakh per year .
Hope for the best.
Thank you.
