CUET UG 2024: Students allege irregularities in answer keys

The National Testing Agency will soon release the CUET final answer key 2024, in online mode. Once it is released, students can check the CUET 2024 final answer key by using their login credentials at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Earlier, the NTA released the CUET UG answer key 2024 on July 7, at exams.nta.ac.in. The NTA has also given the option to challenge the CUET 2024 answer key for any grievances during the challenge window till July 9, at the official website.

For every response, the candidate has to pay Rs/- 200. However, many students have raised several issues on social media regarding the inaccuracies and discrepancies in the answer key CUET UG 2024. According to the report by The Hindu, several students and teachers have said that as per the NCERT syllabus, the NTA has marked many wrong answers as correct options.

CUET UG Provisional Answer Key 2024

Many students who got several responses as incorrect in the CUET exam, might not afford to challenge all of the incorrect responses, as the challenge fee for each response is Rs/-200. This has raised anxiety among several students about the CUET provisional answer key 2024. The CUET answer key 2024 has caused irregularities with the student’s expected marks in the examination.

An X user, Bishal Bhowmik said that most of the questions attempted by him in the Geography exam were marked as wrong.

Despite the number of concerns raised by the students. The NTA has not made any announcement regarding the discrepancies and irregularities in the CUET provisional answer key 2024.

The NTA has opened the CUET answer key challenge window 2024 on July 7, at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Candidates should enter their login credentials such as application number, date of birth and security code on the login window. After logging in, students will be given an opportunity to check their response sheet with the CUET provisional answer key 2024. The NTA is charging Rs/- 200 per every question/option challenged by the students.

The NTA will cross-examine the recorded responses by the students with the CUET 2024 preliminary answer key and rectify the responses, before the release of the CUET 2024 final answer key.

CUET Provisional Answer Key 2024 - Option D

The NTA has marked the response for the 17th question in the English exam paper (Set D) as “D”. It means that both the options 2 and 3 are correct, as shown in the image given below.

CUET Provisional Answer Key 2024 - Drop Question

Also, in the same English test paper (Set D), the NTA has dropped the 46th question. Students who have attempted this question will be awarded 5 marks, because it is a wrong question.

CUET Final Answer Key 2024

The National Testing Agency will release the CUET UG final answer key 2024 after the objection window is closed. As the CUET 2024 challenge window closes, the NTA will make changes in the CUET 2024 final answer key based on the responses received from the students during the objection window.

CUET UG Re-Exam 2024

Amidst the NEET and UGC NET controversies, the NTA has decided to conduct the CUET UG 2024 re-exam for students who have raised concerns till June 30. The NTA has announced the CUET re-exam dates on the official website. The CUET re-exam 2024 will be held on July 19, in CBT mode. The NTA will issue the CUET re-exam admit card 3 to 4 days before the commencement of the examination.

Btech is industry based course and Bsc is a research based academic degree and NEET is a entry level of professional course If you have enough courage to take a drop and crack any entrance of Engineering or neet for good colleges then you can drop a year. But firstly make sure that your drop year should be worth enough in future.it totally depends on you how you are going to spend your coming year.
