Hello Amith,
Manav Rachna University (MRU) , Faridabad formerly known as Manav Rachna college of Engineering is one of the best state private universities established in the year of 2004.
It is NAAC accredited A grade institution. It offers wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral programmes and MRU admissions are done on the basis of merit - based rank of JEE mains, MRNAT(University examination)and many more for the certain courses.
The eligibility criteria for B. Tech admission is 50% aggregate marks in 12th examinations and the result of any of the examinations mentioned above i.e., JEE or MRNAT, etc.
The placements here take place via placement cell named corporate relations and career management centre. There are many companies that visit here for placements but they provides jobs like TCS, dell, IBM, HCl,etc.
The highest package for the overall college was 12 lakh per annum. The average package for the college is Rs. 3.2 lakh a year for the university's B. Tech course and Rs. 3.75 lakh a year for MBA course.
But I suggests that you must enquire everything about the college whether it is campus, placements, infrastructure, fees, etc. as most of the colleges boost up for their placements but students are not satisfied by their placements. I hope you got my point.
You need to do self effort for grabbing the placements in most of the private colleges especially if you are from core branch like mechanical or chemical.
I hope my answer would be helpful to you.
All the best!!!
