Since the cut off marks for ST category is 16.82 and since you got 16.67 you are not eligible for counselling as you missed a chance to qualify with a very less difference between your score and the cutoff marks .

IIT-JAM is an entrance exam conducted every year to select students for M.Sc and other post graduate programs in IITs, IISc, IISER, NISER-Bhubaneswar and NITs. The master and dual degree programs are provided in the field of Applied Sciences only i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology and Mathematics. So are not eligible for the exam after B.Pharma.

see you can certainly apply for iit jam exam, and if you cleared the exam with required score and at the time of counselling you have cleared you previous backlog exam, then you can definitely take admission in iits for m.sc admission. so right now focus on your exam, all the best for your future endeavor.

The basic eligibility for masters in statistics through IIT JAM is that candidate must have studied mathematics or statistics for at least two years ( four semesters ) . And you have studied maths for 3 semesters only. So you are not eligible for it.
