The eligibility criteria for IIT JAM is that a candidate must have passed bachelor's with 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale. This is for candidates belonging to general category. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category it is 50% aggregate or 5.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale. So the marks scored in B.Sc is considered in your case. There is no minimum passing percentage required to score in HSC. But for each M.Sc, M.Sc-PhD program you must have studied required essential subject in 10+2 level. Follow the below tips to prepare for your IIT JAM examination
* First of all go well through the syllabus of your IIT JAM examination
*Make routine or timetable :- you can make a routine as well to avoid procrastination , your routine should revolve around things i.e study, revise and practice
* in your routine major focus should be on your weak areas, work on them so that you can perform well in your examination
*After completing each chapter , you should go through questions of the same chapter
*Make short notes of important formulas and concepts for each chapter and Keep revising it
*Solve previous year questions of your IIT JAM exam :-it will let you know the examination pattern, type and difficulty level of questions, also concepts behind the question often gets repeated, so you should definitely solve year papers
*Go through mock test papers of your IIT JAM exam , it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination

The Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is an all-India level online entrance exam conducted by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) every year on a rotational basis on behalf of Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.
This implies that candidates after graduating from their course sit for this exam to pursue the Masters from IITs.
Last year, IIT JAM exam was conducted for six Science subjects. However, JAM 2021 will be conducted for seven subjects which are Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Sciences (MS) and Physics (PH). The new paper added for JAM 2021 admissions is Economics.

Yes, you can apply for and give IIT JAM Exam if you have biology stream as IIT JAM offers M.Sc. programmes in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics and Physics. So, you can apply for the Chemistry, Biotechnology and Physics programmes.

see indian space research institute and defense research and development institute is prominent organization in india. however every year there is various recruitment comes through isro and drdo. the organization conducts written test of mcq type generally based on the work position. the recruitment process and written test and personal Interview rounds.
however it is not possibly say about which year recruitment would comes for geology professional. so it would be best for you if you get any job in iits placement.

Yes you can. Many vacancies for Junior research fellow in projects are out in ISRO which demands MSc in geology. Apart if you are good at GIS or Remote sensing concepts and Software for data analysis its an added advantage for you.
