You need to login in the candidate portal with the user ID and date of birth.

The English and Foreign Languages University will open an online facility for candidates to apply for EFLU 2021 admission in the month of July, 2021. The application forms are not yet released but as it is the month of July it is expected that the officials will soon release the application forms. History of English literature is a very prominent subject along with grammar. I would suggest that you refer books like 'history of English literature by Edward Albert '. Here are someome of the eligibility criteria as needed to attend EFLU-

1. First of all, the candidate must have passed in 12th standard with 50% (General/OBC) and 45% (SC/ST).

2. Secondly, while applying for the B.Ed in English, candidates must have scored 50% marks (General/OBC) and 45% (SC/ST) as minimum aggregate in B.A or the same percentages for respective categories in M.A. English.

3. Thirdly, the overall marksheet of the candidate must include English as one of these main subjects if you want to pursue his degree in English.

No official announcement has been released as of now. The admission forms are likely to release in July and the entrance test will be conducted likely in September. However, there is no certainty of the same .

Admission notification only for a postgraduate certificate in the teaching of English (Distance Mode) has been released as of now.

The main syllabus for EFLU exam 2021 for the UGs will cover topics from:1)Reasoning 2)Literature 3)General Knowledge  4)Vocabulary 5)Grammar

6)Reading 7)Writing.

There will be 4 sections section 1 Grammar ;Section 2 Vocabulary/Syntax/Semantics; Section 3 Reading and section 4 general knowledge.

EFLU literature paper questions are  purely based on the early period of English literature and its development to the contemporary literary award winners and their works.you must have knowledge of the history of English literature and English language ,the authors ,the characters ,the protagonists etc.You must know which writer/author belongs to which period.Moreover , Knowledge of the major school of literary theory and criticism and of genres : Poetry,Drama,Cinema,Narative etc ,is equally important.

See, the peculiar thing about EFLU is your writing style and how you express through your writing .If you are good at it ,you have a better chance.
