Siddharth Raghav 13th May, 2020

Hi

Yes , you will be eligible for NEET 2021 even if you fail to pass your class 12th board examination in 2020.

This is because,

If you fail to pass your 12th board examination this year then you will be appearing for it again in 2021 as a private candidate and as per neet eligibility criteria private candidates are eligible for appearing in neet examination.

Thankyou

I am in class 12 from commerce stream without maths so will bcom pass will be a good course for me to opt for in Kirorimal or Ramjas college ?

Nimisha Gupta 13th May, 2020

Arash, maths is not the most important subject for a commerce student.  Though it gives the added benefit of doing Bcom Hons from great colleges but Bcom pass is equally a good course for the students. So if you want the admission in the college the foremost thing is having a good percentage. If you have scored nicely you can get admission in any renowned college of your choice be it Kirorimal or Ramjas. You should score atleast a minimum of 96% in your 12th board to get admission in DU colleges.

Several of my friends had commerce without maths and they got admission in good colleges.

You can easily pursue another course with your bcom degree like CA, CS, actuarial science etc. It is not important to limit yourself to just Bcom pass.

Focus on the main subjects like Accountancy, English, Economics and Business studies. Make these subjects as your strong points. If you are able to score above 95% in these then you can easily get admission in any renowned college.

All the best for your studies and do well.

how many Marks I want to score in 12 standard

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 12th May, 2020
Hi

In general , you should try to get at least 80% in your class 12 board examination.
Actually, how many marks you should score in class 12th board examination depends upon what do you want to do after your 12th

For example,

  • If you want to get admission in Delhi University then you should try to get at least 90- 95% in your class 12th board examination.
  • if you are going to appear for entrance examinations like NEET you should try to get at least an aggregate of 50% in physics chemistry and Biology
  • If you are going to give examinations like JEE and want to get into NIT or IIT , you should try to get at least 75% in your board examination.

Thankyou

I am in class 12 from commerce stream without maths so I wanted to know the cut off precentage for bcom pass in hans raj college

Ankit Dahiya Student Expert 12th May, 2020
Hello
Hansraj College college does not offer B.Com pass course. It offers only B.Com Hons course.
The eligiblity criteria for admissions to B.Com Hons course in University of Delhi is that the candidate should have passed class XII with Mathematics as compulsory subject. So, you can not take admissions in B.Com hons.
However there are many other colleges in Delhi University which offer B.Com pass course like
  • Kirori Mal College
  • Ramjas College
  • Motilal Nehru College
  • PGDAV
