Shubhradip Chatterjee: My name is Shubhradip Chatterjee, and I am currently pursuing a B.A. in English Language and Literature. I am an active member of the university cultural community, with a primary focus on theatre and performing arts.

Careers360: What were the reasons that motivated you to choose Adamas University for your future studies?

Shubhradip Chatterjee: I chose Adamas University because of its strong academic curriculum in the humanities and its reputation for providing a platform where creative talents can thrive alongside formal education.

Shubhradip Chatterjee: The university is a truly supportive institution. The environment is designed to be inclusive, where students from various backgrounds and interests, be it academics, fashion, or theatre, are encouraged to collaborate and grow together.

Shubhradip Chatterjee: The faculty members are really supportive and highly accessible. Whether it is clarifying complex literary concepts or seeking guidance for career paths, they are always available to mentor and assist students.

Careers360: If you are a hosteller, how has your hostel experience been?

Shubhradip Chatterjee: I am not a hosteller; however, as a day scholar, I find the campus facilities very accommodating for spending productive hours between classes and rehearsals.

Shubhradip Chatterjee: Adamas offers a wide range of vibrant clubs, including the Kissewala Club for theatre, Jhankar Club, Trendskriti fashion club and various other clubs. These clubs are very well managed and provide excellent opportunities for student engagement.

Careers360: Have you participated in any events, competitions, or campus activities? If yes, could you share your experience?

Shubhradip Chatterjee: Yes, I have been a theatre artist in countless events. One of my proudest achievements has been representing Adamas University in inter-college events, where I have been fortunate enough to win several prizes and bring accolades back to my college.

Shubhradip Chatterjee: The university builds practical skills by encouraging participation in high-stakes competitions and events. For me, theatre has been a gateway to developing public speaking, teamwork, and creative problem-solving skills that are vital for my future career.

Shubhradip Chatterjee: The library is a great resource for my English literature studies, while the campus stages and activity areas have been essential for my growth as a performer.
