TISS BAT is of 100 marks divided into two sections-Part A has current affair, social awareness and analytical reasoning for 60 marks in MCQs format, part B is descriptive type for a duration of 30 minutes carrying 40 marks, candidates are required to write short answers of two questions.
The syllabus of General Awareness consists of Current Affairs, Media and Advertisements, History, Geography, Politics and Indian Constitution, Economy, Awards, Health, Technology, Environment and Nature, and Arts, Music and Films etc, you can read newspaper like The Hindu/The Indian Express/The Economic Times to cover the dynamic portion, for static portion you can refer Lucent's GK/Manorama Yearbook/Competition Success Review, also consider going through previous year papers as this will help you get acquainted with paper pattern, important topics and other relevant details pertaining to preparation of the exam.

OBC (NC)(18) means that although you have not been granted final admission in the social work program via TISS BAT ,you are not fully rejected either.In case there is any vacany in the seat from the OBC(NC) category you are number 18th in consideration for that seat.
In brief,if their is any seat under OBC(NC) category seat matrix that is vacant in the social work program you may get choosen for that,but before you 17 people will have the chance for choosing it as your waitlist rank is 18.

Eligibility : Students should have passed 12th Class or Intermediate in any subject stream from a Recognised Board. Students who have studied International Baccalaureate Diploma and will be completing 12th class with clear results declared by June 2020 are eligible to apply.
Candidates who have appeared for their 12th class or Intermediate final exams and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. Final pass result should be produced at the time of joining the program, if selected.

TISS BAT 2020 will be conducted on April 25,2020.The admissions to various BA courses in TISS is done on the basis of TISS BAT 2020. If there is any change in the exam date it will be published in the official website.

The cut off score depends on several factors.It may vary every year.The cut off marks is the minimum marks required to be qualified in the test.For general category it was 45% based on last years results. It would be better if you keep your score above 50% to be on the safe side.
Yes, sure only you can read the history in Hindi if you have any problem in understanding English. You can go to Google and search English to Hindi translator. There you can type the words and the full sentences in English and within a second you will get the Hindi translation of the whole sentence that you have typed in English in the Google Translator of the history that you are looking for. TISS BAT 2020 is on the 25th of April 2020 by Tata Institute of Social Sciences. It is an undergraduate entrance exam at a University level where 120 seats are offered. It is a computer-based test for admission in three programmes. The OBC certificate is needed for getting the 27 percent of the reserved seats which are reserved for its category students. The OBC NCL Category is valid for all groups which comes under the Non- Creamy Layer groups which comes under different states and regions.
It is not necessary that you have to get the domicile's OBC certificate only but all states which have Backward Groups consisting of Non Creamy Layer are eligible for it.
