Hello Akhila, yes you can write PESSAT exam but PES offers lateral entry only for MCA course and not for all the courses.

Hey Arun, PES is a college. You should definitely try your luck in the second round. The trends of cutoff change over time, so don't be disheartened if you didnt make it in the first round. for B.tech-it has physics,chemistry,mathematics and english are the subjects

for M.Tech/MCA- Analytical and Logical ability,Maths,Computer Awareness,English Comprehension

For MBA- Analytical and Logical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning,General Awareness,English Comprehension/Verbal Ability

For BBA- Analytical and Logical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning,English Comprehension/Verbal Ability

Priya, PESSAT is not extraordinarily difficult to crack it. Preparation can be done alongside other entrance exams.

For example if you are preparing for JEE Main then its preparation will be sufficient for PESSAT also. In addition, there is an English section also, so just focus on preparing that in addition.

Securing CS does not depend n your marks, but rather your rank.  For securing that branch, you need to get your rank within the range of top 900. Beyond that it is difficult. But again it depends on the number of students who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper.
