After the analysis of last year cutoff ranks in councelling of PES University it is about 1500 in 1st round.

College can go for multiple round of councelling for giving admissions to qualified student.

so if you get 2046 rank then you can easily get admission in pes university on this rank in 2nd round councelling.

Rameshkumar, for CS branch in PES university, you need to get a rank up to 900. Beyond that the branch closes for admission.

To get admission in some branch in the university, your rank must be within 3k.

Admission to all the regular courses are through PESSAT or CET examination. The university considers the marks obtained by the candidates in their previous qualifying examination and in PESSAT examination for preparation of the merit list for various courses.

For various PG and doctoral courses, the University also conducts an interview round for evaluation of the candidates.

STEPS TAKEN

PESU offers the B.Tech courses with 7 different specialization. The engineering degrees also include B.Tech. double specialization, Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech. courses with a number of specialization subjects.

For admission to all the undergraduate courses offered at PESU, all the candidates need to sit for PESSAT and based on the academic score of the candidates as well as the score in the entrance test, final merit list for the candidates are prepared.

• Candidates must have completed their 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

In PEESAT, they only provide you with your rank and not your marks scored.

You should aim for the best and try to score as much as you can but to give a rough estimate, I think getting a rank below 600 would give a good chance of getting CSE.

Hello Parimala, you have a pretty decent rank with this much of rank you are eligible for most of the colleges out there, though you might not be able to land yourself in top tier government college. But surely you can try your luck on private universities. Hope this helps!!!

 Candidates can book their slot for PESSAT 2019 in online mode from April 25. Once the PESSAT 2019 slot is booked, candidates can download their admit card by using their credentials. PES University has released the application form of PESSAT 2019 on October 5 in online mode. Candidates can fill and submit the application form on or before the last date i.e. April 18 (those who are not from Bengaluru). The university has also announced the important dates of PESSAT 2019. The exam will be conducted in online mode in from May 2 to 20, 2019. To apply for it, candidates will have to fill and submit the online application form of PESSAT 2019. Along with the form, the application fees of PESSAT 2019 has to be deposited. However, before applying for the entrance exam, candidates must check and meet PESSAT 2019 eligibility criteria. The admission to the various undergraduate engineering programmes will be offered based on PESSAT or KCET 2019 score. The result of PESSAT 2019 will be announced tentatively in the last week of May. All the shortlisted candidates will have to attend the PESSAT 2019 counselling in person on the notified date and time.

I am sorry to inform you that once slot is booked you cannot change that as per PESSAT norms.

Yes there are possibilty to get a seat for 2nd round of counselling in pessat but it all depends on your rank.In previous year cutoff closing rank for cse in first round was 920 and for ECE it was  1599.Getting cse in 2nd round is difficult as compared to ece,eee ,it or mechanical.

Hello ! Firstly  i would like share small information  regarding cse from Pes university and rv college of technology.

Both the colleges has great reputation in its own. Every year 90% of students in both campus are placed with average salary of 8-9 lakhs per annum.(estimated figure) .

In 2014, pessat paper is found to be comparatively easy. 

But now the exam pattern has been changed COMEDK question level is found to be quite easier than pessat.

So if you want to be with best option then you can go with COMEDK  way to get cse .
