       By comparing the last few years' cut off marks, the branches which will fit best for this rank is Mechanical and Bio-Tech. There are very fewer chances of getting Mechanical engineering too because almost all seats of other branches fills up up to 4k rank.

Your marks may be written in the form of points out of 10. Here you have not provided the complete information. If your points are declared in the form of point scale then go through your result there is some mentioning about the conversion og points into percentage. And go through the website of PES. There you can get the information about the uploading of your result. In your marksheet if you got CGPA or CPI then it can be converted into percentage as (CGPA or CPI - 0.50*10. Check this in the backside of your result's hardcopy also.

B.Tech Course

• Candidates must have completed their 12thor equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

You go on with your counselling and let's say you get a college you are interested to get admission.

When you confirm you options then they will say you to visit a particular centre for verification of your documents.

If you fail to do so then you will be disqualified.

GPA is multiplied by 9.5 to get the percentage. A person who scores a 10 on 10 GPA would have scored anything between 95% and 100%. The system of GPA was introduced to take off hard feelings of losing top ranks. According to the board and universities which issue grade points instead of percentage, everyone is a topper who scores 95% and above. Anyone who scores between 81 and 100 have scored 9 on 10, 71 to 80 has scored 8 on 10 and so on. This is the best technique of awarding marks is one of the best practices India has ever adopted. Every year cutoff Changes as the level of paper changes.

As per previous years cutoff you should get rank within 1000 to get CSE.

For ECe this rank may increase to 2500.

Last year the cutoff for CSE in first round was around 900.

But this scenario can change this year and it depends on the availability of seats.

PROCEDURE FOR SLOT BOOKING

• You will have to complete the online slot booking process to access their admit card.
• Then you need to log in using the registration number and date of birth to book the slotsAfter logging in, the booking of the slots will have to be done by the you.
• You have to enter their preferred exam centre, date and time to give the entrance exam while completing the PESSAT 2019 slot booking process.
• After the slots are successfully booked, the admit card will be generated.

Slot booking is on the first come, first serve basis. The examination date and timings will be provided based on the choice of slots. The admit card of PESSAT 2019 will be available only in online mode. The document will not be available through any other mode.

 Admit card will be generated once you are done with the slot booking criteria.
