PES Scholastic Aptitude Test
Manish, it is very difficult for you to get CSE branch in PES University through PESSAT results.
Normally the cut-off for this branch is around 850 to 900 in 2nd round which is the final round.
Hence, you should try for other branches in PES, or try for CSE in other colleges.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.
Hope this helps!
All the best!
Hii Vishnu,
Congratulations for your good score. Yes, you can pessat waiver seat.
ALL THE BEST!!
Hi samrath,
you can ask for any branch you wish,, if the cse is filled you can get ece easily.
Tarun, depending on your rank, you might have a chance of getting EC branch.
Other than that, you can definetly get all the other branches which includes EE, Civil, Mechanical, BioTech etc. But it depends on the number of studens who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper.
Hello A Mahanthesh
You can go for second round of counselling and he might get Biotechnology or Civil Engineering. But still chances are quite low. Getting CSE or Electronics branch is highly impossible. This is because PESSAT is for admission in a single college and they have limited seats. Plus it is one of the premiere institute, so people are not willing to give up their seats. Anyways, hope for the best.
Is it compulsory to have the Pessat hall ticket for counseling?
Hello AKASH A S
I don't think You will get a seat in PES University. You can go for second round of counselling and you might get Biotechnology or Civil Engineering if your luck is extremely well. Getting CSE or Electronics branch is highly impossible. This is because PESSAT is for admission in a single college and they have limited seats. Plus it is one of the premiere institute, so people are not willing to give up their seats. Anyways, hope for the best.
Hi Akash,
It is obviously not known to anyone or it is not disclosed about how many people write PESSAT. But yes,it is a reputed college and around 12000+students write it. I hope you know that if your rank is within 5000,you will be called for the 1st round of counselling which happens physically.
Wishing you the best for your admissions!
