Usually they stop taking students for admission after 3k rank in the final round. But it depends on the number of studens who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper. So you can still give it a try.

Yash,it is not really possible for us to tell the exact number of candidates who appeared for PESSAT 2019. But we can tell you at least 15k people have appeared.

Depending on your rank, you might have a chance of getting EE branch.

Other than that, you can definitely get all the other branches which includes Civil, Mechanical, BioTech etc. But it depends on the number of students who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper.

Neeruganti, it seems really difficult for you to get CSE branch in PES University. The branch closes in 850-900 rank in the second round, which is the final round.

Depending on your rank, you might have a chance of getting EC branch.

Other than that, you can definitely get all the other branches which includes EE, Civil, Mechanical, BioTech etc. But it depends on the number of students who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper.

you can get CSE in grade 2 where fees is higher . you can opt for mechanical or electrical. you have have higher chances of getting those branches in that reputed college . If you are opting for CSE then you might get it but fees will be higher. so choose accordingly .

Since PES University does not declare their rank cut-offs the expected cut-offs are given below from analysing past   admissions. Here are the final ranks from after second round - 

CSE branch - upto 1000, EC branch - upto 1500, EE branch - upto 2000, Civil, Mechanical, Bio-Tech - upto 3000

the only answer to this question can be given as anything could be happend(sorry for not being exact)

as this time rank was given acoording to the percentile so a major changes can happens

my friend got 99.3 percentile and she got about 19000 rank and she has scored about 167 marks.for this  marks the last year ranks were about 15000 or less.some has saw opposite trend also ie get less rank with same percentile so anything could possible but yes changes are there but whether it is drastic or not cannot be said

Well based on your rank and comparing it with rank vs cutoffs in various branches from the previous years i am sorry to say that its impossible for you to secure a seat in any branches in pes university.As the cutoff ranks goes maximum in lower branches such as civil,biotech etc which is not greater than 3000.So i suggest you to pursue other options.

yes yoou will get.

No site or PESSAT office websit give the last year cutoff so we check where you get the seat or not .

CSE - Closing rank 920; ECE - Closing rank somewhere around 1500. according to some student i get last year cutoff.

The Candidates who get the rank between 1 and 1500 will be called first.

The candidates who get the rank between 1501 and 2500 will be called the second time
The candidates who get the rank Between 2501 and 3750 will be called the third time
The candidates who get the rank between 3751 and 5000 will be called the fourth time
Candidates who have the rank of more than 5000 will be called for 2nd counselling which be held at the end of June and July Maybe.
