COngratulations for your result! That's a wonderful rank. You surely should get a seat in CSE branch. Because according to the trends CSE in PES closes at around 1200-1500. So you are safe for sure. If not in first round you'll definitely get CSE in second round of counselling.

According to previous years cutoff you can get mechanical,bio tech or civil easily in any round with this rank in main campus.

For getting Eee or other related branch chances are hard and you can only get these branches in latter rounds.

But this scenario changes every year and there is no certainty for this .

If you are talking about your rank in JEE mains.Then with this rank you can get a good goverment college also you can apply for the NIT and IIT also.But if you are talking about other university entrance exam so it depends on the required cutoff for that university.So you can apply for both or in which you are interested.

Even in 2nd or 3rd round you have very less chances of getting EcE.

But every year cutoff changes as the level of the paper changes so there could be some chance.

You can't get the CSE seat in PES South campus because there are only 270 PESSAT quota seats and there is only 600 seats .

PES is one of the most prestigeous private colleges of south india. As high are the prestize so high are the cutoffs and fees.

With 3.7K rank you wont get CSE and ISE, but you can get Civil and Biotech for sure I guess.

basically the cse and ISE cutoffs lies around 700-1000 rank.

So, cutoff are quite competitive and as the college is good so people dont quickly give awayb their seats. so in my opinion with reference to the p[revious year's trend you can get civil or biotech.

SUMA, it seems really difficult for you to get admission in PES University.

Usually they stop taking students for admission after 3k rank in the final round. But it depends on the number of students who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper. So you can still give it a try.
