You did not mention the state you belong to and your category,it is difficult to predict the course you might get.Considering you belomg to general category and your homestate is karnataka you might end up with branches like chemocal,biotech,eee,civil.You may not get cse,ece as their  closing rank ranges around 1000.Thank you.

According to previous years cut off rank analysis which is subjective as cut off ranks change every year depending upon current years level of difficulty of examination and no of candidates applying for ece  specifically but if we look at previous years cut off then

For CS branc the cut-off is around 850 to 900(in 2nd round which is the final round

For EC it is about 1500(2nd round)

For EE it is about 2000(2nd round)

And it goes up to 3000 for all the other streams like civil, mechanical and bio tech.

So it looks that you can get.

• for cse companies like microsoft, amazon, ola, adobe , deloitte, capegemini , infosys etc etc vsit the campus offering 8 lacs and above on an average
• for ece again companies remain same as above largly as wiproturbo,microchip, epilson , accenture,robert bosch etc etc(cse grads sit for these companies too) many companies visit pes quite good placement records, they get to sit for above companies too,packages are offered above 4 lacs on an average

If you are asking btech ,then here it is 

For CS branch the cutoff is around 860 to 900 rank

For  EC branch it's about 1500

For EE branch it's about 2000

For other branches upto 3000 

So there are chances for you ,if not first try for second counseling.

Though chances are quite less and slim but cant predict anythihng accrately so you must try till the last round and may be you can get if you are lucky enough but as per previous year's trend you can't gewt into PES with ECE branch.

PES is one of the prestigeous private colleges so, cutoffs are quite higher!

PES is one of the prestigeous private colleges of South india. so cutoffs are quite high for this college. and if we consider CSE then chances are quite low as it gets over woithin 1-2K.

But with this rank you will get branches like civil, biotech etc.
