according to previous years cut off rank analysis which is subjective as cut off ranks change every year depending upon current years level of difficulty of examination and no of candidates applying for ece  specifically but if we look at previous years cut off then

For CS branc the cut-off is around 850 to 900(in 2nd round which is the final round

For EC it is about 1500(2nd round)

For EE it is about 2000(2nd round)

and it goes up to 3000 for all the other streams like civil, mechanical and bio tech.

So with your rank it looks a bit difficult but you must give a try.

Yes, you can select cs while filling up the choices of councelling. At the time of choice filling of councelling, you can choose your according to your choice.

This year there are 270 seats available in PES University for the PESSAT examination and getting into it in the second round is pretty difficult as it is a deemed university so, most of the times the counselling never reaches the second round. Although, don't loose hope and also keep an eye out for other colleges to.Best of Luck!

Since counselling process ,for admission into PES is conducted offline ,at institute hence it is compulsary for students to produce certain documents without them they will be not allowed to be a part of process.

Documents required are:

• Hall ticket and Rank Card of PESSAT
• Birth certificate/10th Marksheet
• Transfer Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Aadhar Card 
• 4 passport size photos
•  2 separate Demand Drafts for 3,20,000 and 10,000 drawn in favour of PES University

PESSAT CUT OFF

PES University, Bangalore has declared the cut off list for PESSAT 2019. PESSAT Cut off list is declared for all the courses such as B.Tech, B.Des, B.Arch., Bachelor Management Programs, M.Tech, M.Com, M.Sc., Law and Master’s Management Programs.

• The cut off is declared on the basis of marks secured in the Aptitude test.
• The qualifying applicants for B.Tech Program is  listed on the website who will be required to report for the first round of counselling.
• The first round of counselling for B.Tech programs will be conducted on June 1, 2019.

Hello, considering the previous years cutt off for ECE you can easily get a seat for this branch in PES. However every year the cutt off will change as the level of the paper that is being set changes. It would be in your best interest to ask around a bit more regarding this topic and to also check the previous years cutt off list for a better understanding.

With 3508 rank in Pessat, you may get branches like biotech,chemical For cse closing rank is around 800 and for ece it is around 1200.You may have to compromise on branch if you want to join in PES University.

Well according to previous years cut off analysis with a rank of 5000 it is very tough to get ece in pes, ece faces a lot of stiff competition at pes , if we look at previous years cut off rank ece closes at 1500 maximum in round 1 , sometimes not and sometimes stretches maximum upto 2000 i round 2 so you might not be getting ece at pes.

With 4558 rank in pessat there are chances that you can get mechanical engineering branch seeing previous year's cutoff and this year also the cutoff trend will be more or less the same and the counseling is going to start from 1st june so best of luck .

PESSAT is an exam conducted for admission in PES University while COMEDK is an exam which makes you eligible for admission in various colleges. If possible try to attend the counseling program for both of them. But if you want to select the better option in terms of fees and branch allotment then go for COMEDK counseling. COMEDK counseling will provide you selection opportunities in many colleges. So chances of admission in the preffered branch are high. Fees would vary according to your selection of college.
