can a mpc student attempt biology in nest??? are there any minimum marks for each subject to qualify?

hi,

nest 2020 application has extended to 31 may, 2020.

the eligibility criteria is

candidates must have pass 12th course from a recognized university in the year of 2019/2018  are eligible to apply.  candidate from general category should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% marks. For ST/SC candidates, minimum aggregate marks are 55%. candidates must have studies mathematics, physics, chemistry , biology or life science as a subject in 10+2 course.

there is no separate qualifying score applicable to each subject. there will be two paper, in section 1 there is general aptitude questions, Section 2 will contain questions from Biology, Section 3 from Chemistry, Section 4 from Mathematics and Section 5 from Physics. Candidates have to attempt any three other sections after attempting Section I.

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is conducted jointly by National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and Mumbai University - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai.

By NEST exam you will get admission in M.SC courses , in Biology , Chemistry ,Mathematics and Physics.

How can I appear for nest mock test?? Please provide me the steps. Nest mock test is online or offline?? If online then it is beneficial or not??

The NEST mock test, when opened on the portal is shown as an option on the official website. The mock test is conducted online and you just need to login with your credentials to start the test after clicking on the mock test link. The test is really beneficial as it provides you the idea of the question paper pattern and the way questions will be asked. You can also solve previous year question papers available on the official Website.

The syllabus of NEST Exam is solely based on your 11 and 12 subjects. NCERT Textbooks and exemplar are considered as best books for basic preparation. You may practice Concepts of Physics By HC Verma, RD Sharma for Mathematics, OP Tandon for Inorganic Chemistry, Truman Vol 1 and 2 for Biology and JEE and NEET Question papers etc.

Solve previous year question papers for better understanding. Practice as much as you can.

will nest ( niiser ) authority extended the date for form filling , as now there are everywhere lock down all syber cafes are closed , I didnt make my form fill up. please reply

Would JEE mains be further extended. What will be expected exam date according to you ?

Hi there,
There are lot of new about jee mains like there are some chances of cancelling jee advance so by seeing all those things
In my opinion the second jee mains paper would be conducted around 1-2 week of june before that there is not high chances of the exam to happen
So prepare well for the exam. And try to score more tha  250.

The announced exam dates for AAKASH NEST is 5th April, 2020 (Sunday)

Timing :    Morning: 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM or

Evening: 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM
