Joint Admission Test for M.Sc Programmes
IIT JAM is a national level examination organized to offer admission into M.Sc. (four semesters), M.Sc. Ph.D., and M.Sc. Ph.D. dual degree etc. programmes at IITs. The admission is offered to the Indian nationals as well as foreign national candidates. Students qualifying this entrance test can apply for admission into these courses in various renowned colleges of the country.
JAM is one of the toughest paper and therefore must be dealt with care.firstly aware yourself of the syllabus of the JAM, then Make a timetable and follow it religiously. Solve previous year questions to see your improvements.

If you asking regarding the language in which IIT JAM is held, then it's only held in English.
There are seven objective-type test papers in IIT JAM: Chemistry (CY), Physics (PH), Mathematics (MA), Geology (GG), Biological Sciences (BL), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Biotechnology (BT).
The entire paper will be divided into three sections in which Section A will contain 30 questions, Section B will contain 10 Questions and Section C will contain 20 questions.
Negative marking is applicable only for section A.
As for the negative marking, for each wrong answer in the 1 mark question, 1/3 marks will be deducted and for 2 marks questions, 2/3 marks will be deducted.
No marks will be deducted for un-attempted questions.
Each paper will have 60 questions for a total of 100 marks.
