see iit jam is not the only one exam for msc courses. but if you want to do msc from iits then iit jam is the only one exam. however there is many reputed university in india conducts post graduate entrance test. some popular exam is like banaras hindu

At first IITs do not  have any Botany Course.But some courses are there which are related to Botany . If you are in the final year you can apply for IITJAM.The application process starts every year on September and the portal closes on October.

The marks vs rank list is not available officially for any IIT JAM exam.

But I would give an approximate rank vs marks list for IITJAM chemistry.

Marks:70 and above- R ank :less than 20

Marks:65-69 -rank :20-50

Marks:60-64- rank:51-150

Marks:55-59-rank:151-250

Marks:45-54- rank:251-500

You can appear for M.Sc Mathematics if you have Mathematics as an essential subject for at least two years/four semesters. Beside this, if you are from general categoey, then you have to get atleast 55% marks or 5.55 out of 10 aggregate marks in your qualifying degree.

Hello Aspirant, the cutoffs change from year to year, the qualifying marks for chemistry in IIT-JAM is  27 marks. The closing rank would be around 320. the iits offered msc in chemistry is TB, IITD, IITGN, IITG, IITH, IITI, IITK, IITM, IITR. the eligibility criteria is Bachelor's degree with Chemistry for three years or six semesters and Mathematics at the (10+2) level. so you are not eligible.
