Hello aspirant,
Don't need to get worried. If the status of your application form shows "UNDER PROCESS", it means that your application form is getting scrutinized by the officials of the conducting board whether you've filled up your application form in correct order as per the requirements given. Since the officials have pointed out the mistake and you have rectified it in time, so it is not expected that your application form will be rejected. After the completion of scrutinizing of the application form, the officials will send you the confirmation over the mail that your application is found to be in order and has been accepted. So, be patient enough to wait for the confirmation mail.
Hope, it helps you.
If you got the enrollment id previously then scroll the message and the mail a bit. otp is written down below.
There's nothing to be worried about. If your online payment had got failed due to power or internet disruption, then when you get back online again, immediately check the payment status on the official website of JAM. If it shows that it is paid, a confirmation message will show you and you can proceed for further steps. If it's not received by JAM, then you've to start again with the payment steps so as to complete the process. If in case, if the money is debited in the first attempt from the account, then it will be refunded back to your account. For payment, you will be charged only once. See, this happens often due to network failure and don't need to be worried, extra money if you had paid to JAM, it will be returned to your account.

Hello,
At first according to your first query the answer would be yes it is possible to change your category or gender mistakes incase you made a mistake. For that you have to Visit the official website for JOAPS. This gives the student a chance to edit their applications. They would take some additional fees for changing the mistakes. Often these changes are not guaranteed and the fees is obviously non-refundable. They have divided the candidates into two categories that is group 1 and group 2. Group 1 consists of females of all categories and SC/ST/PWDs and Group 2 consists of the rest of the candidates.
No additional fees is required for group 1 but for group 2 you have to pay Rs750 for 1 paper and if you want to edit for both papers then you have to pay Rs1050.
Now ews has been announced lately so there is no detail of benefits from previous years. But what I can assure you is that yes it would affect you as in ews would have seats for financially weak students so that would be an issue. Moreover, even if you have chances to acquire a seat in ews you will ineligible for it.
Good luck.
