Best of luck
Hi,
IIT JAM exam conducted for UG graduates to get M.Sc. admission in top IITs, IISc, etc. So this exam only consider UG marks and there are no such requirements for HS marks, they don't have any criteria for HS marks.
JAM appearing candidates requires to have at least 55% in their UG for General & OBC category (50% for other categories). As per IIT JAM qualification criteria, candidates who have either appeared or are going to appear in the final semester examination of their bachelor’s degree are also eligible to appear in this exam.
I suggest checking all other qualifying criteria and subjects you are willing to appear in IIT JAM exam on their official website before appearing to exam.
All the best!

Hello Bhawana
For IIT Bombay- An AIR of less than 60 will do for securing a call to MTech Biomedical engineering programme. Then it depends on your interview and written test performance.
For IIT Kanpur-You need to be within AIR 200 for the call to the BSBE programme.Once again the final admission is based on written test and two rounds of interview.
For IIT Roorkee-You need to be within 400 AIR to fetch a call.Final admission is based on Written Test +interview.
For IIT Kharagpur-Need to be within AIR 70 for the MTech programme in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering.Again Final call is based on weightage to GATE score +interview(70:30).
For IIT Guwahati-An AIR of 150 can realistically convert the call provided written test goes well.
For IIT Madras-For the MS programme,an AIR of 500 will be good enough for initial shortlist.Final call is purely written and interview based.
For IIT Delhi-same as IIT Bombay.

Hello
If you have Chemistry as Essential subjects in bachelor’s degree for three years/six semesters or
Any one of Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics for two years/four semesters, and any one of the other four subjects for at least one year/two semesters or
Mathematics and Physics with any one of these subjects among Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Application, Geology and Statistics
Then you can qualify for this exam. But before applying you must check complete details of IIT JAM 2020 here.
Yes, you can get NITs in this score. according to the previous data, the closing score for CCMN Counselling for the first round is almost 30-35. However, the cut off can be high this year. But, you can get the admission in round 2. So, don't lose your hope. Check the previous year IIT JAM cut off for all 22 nits and fill the form accordingly.
Thank You!!
Hi Ajil,
Looking at the cut off trend of previous years, you are very likely to get admission in NIT.
You have a really good chance in -
MNNIT Allahabad
Hi Sonali,
According to your its difficult to get admission into IIT. The cutoff for IIT for MAthematics is too high. Generally for mathematics in any IIT AIR should be below 200.
