Joint Admission Test for M.Sc Programmes
Hi Akshita, To pursue Msc in Economics from IIT Roorkee, one has to give JAM Mathematics Paper. There is no Interview round, selection happens on the basis of rank obtained in the JAM MA exam.
Hope this clears your doubt.
Hi Amritha,
Even though your chances of selection are pretty low, I would suggest you to apply for the application. There have been incidences when the cutoff was highly different due to the change in the number of students. Don't keep hopes but still try. It won't cost much.
All the best.
Hello Rajesh,
It would be difficult to tell you the exact as cutoff varies everyyear depending on the factors such as no. of applicant appeared for the exam, Difficulty level of the exam, performance of the candidates etc.
However you can check the previous year cutoff to take an Idea about the admission possibilities in IITs & NITs with the given below link.

Hello Student,
You don't need any kind of special coaching or any kind of study material from any coaching centre . you just need to focus on your text book.
You just need to read your B.Sc. book throughly. Almost all the syllabus is asked from BSc books no matter what your university is. So after reading your books start solving previous year questions.
There may be some topics which will not be in your university syllabus so look at the iit jam syllabus. And that's it. This is how you can start your prepreation.
Hope it helps.
Thank you :)
