Hello Sonali,
The cutoff varies every year depending on the various factors like No. of Applicant appeared for the exam, Difficulty level of the exam, Performance of the candidates etc. so it would be difficult to tell you the exact about the admission possibilities.
However you can check IITs & NITs previous year cutoff & programmes with the given below link to take an Idea about the admission possibilities.

Good Luck!
Hello student,
May be the syllabus for IIT Jam and other insitutes look similar, but they are not the same. You see, for example, when you take a particular subject like mathematics, then, the basic concepts and syllabus will be the same which would make you confused. But, thats not a problem. It is one of the toughest exam to crack, and has overlap with the portions of other university exams too.
Good luck
Hello Sagar, you have a pretty decent rank with this much of rank you are eligible for most of the colleges out there, though you might not be able to land yourself in top tier government college. But surely you can try your luck on private universities. Hope this helps!!!
Hello
IIT JAM Counseling has been conducted and since it is late to answer this query, we hope you have checked the counseling results.
Do let us know if you have any other queries.
Hi Rahul! In IIT JAM Physics 2019, qualifying marks for general category are 24.99, for OBC is 22.49 and for SC/ST it is 12.49. You surely stand a good chance for NIT in counselling of JAM 2019. You should completely go through your counselling rounds based on your preferences.
I hope it helps. Good luck!
Hello Vijeta,
Congratulations on scoring such good marks!
Since your marks are significantly higher than the specified cut-off, there is a great probability of getting admission into an IIT or NIT. But nothing can be said with 100% surety as of now because the opening and closing ranks of the colleges are not disclosed yet and besides that, your chance to get an IIT or NIT also depends upon your category and the course you want to opt(for example you may get a seat for B.Tech in Mechanical branch easily but the same is less likely to happen for CS).
So for now, all you can do is wait for the list of opening and closing ranks of college and hope for the best.
Best Wishes for your future!
Thank You.
As per your score and previous year cutoff, the colleges you get in first round are:-
National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra Molecular Engineering & Advanced Chemical Analysis
National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal Environmental Engineering
