Well se both the fields are no less to one another . Both are good. Well biotech is a narrow field it doesn't provide the scope that biological science priovides. Be it from research purposes to taking job to being professor in a college. But afteall it should be your interest what doyoulike. You can take biotech if you want as there had been new scopes in this field. Else rest ids on you.

i think you are  be elligible for iit jam exams . check whether while filling the iiit jam application form the course is mentioned or not . if your course is showing on the list of courses then you are elligible . also check the ehole eligibility criteria

i dont think there will be much changes in the eligibilty criteria other than mentioned in iit jam website however some changes still can occur because a college can have its own rules apart from the mentioned one . so it would be better to visit the offficial website of the college for overall details

its totally based upon your luck as anything can be happend .it is quite tough.. that there will be much fall in the cutoff marks in second or third round but i think it will reach at 38 marks so yes chances are there .better to check out the previous year trend also

IIT-JAM and UPSC CSE are two far ends and both are eually good. If you feel that you have to pursue your career in chemistry, then just go for IIT-JAM. Else, if you are really service minded and so passionate about entering the Civil services then go for it.

IIT-JAM means a Joint enrance test conducted for M.Sc or integrated Ph.D programmes in the IISc and IIT's. The eligibility is an aggregate of 55% for general and OBC candidates. There are seven subjects which one can choose. The 2019 IIT JAM is conducted by IIT Kharagpur.
