IIT Jodhpur and NIT Wrangal both offered msc chemistry which one is best jam 2019

abhinav mittal 11th Jun, 2019

Hello

The first choice for JAM Students is always IITs. Science students have a dream to get admission in IITs. But to crack the IIT JAM Cut off for IITs is not easy. You have to fully prepare for the exam. So, below, I have provided some tips to crack the exam.

Know analysis the syllabus and make a list of basic topics, high weightage topics, topics which you have not any knowledge and topics that you already know.

Now make your study plan and give time to each topic accordingly.

Also, include solving previous year IIT JAM question papers and mock test papers in the time table.

Now start your preparation. You can buy good books suggested by toppers or buy study material also. If you want to make your own notes then this is the best strategy for preparation because your own notes more than understanding as compare to buy any notes.

However, if you have not enough time then you can buy online notes after full research.

Cover your basic topics one by one and if you have any problem in any topic ask your teachers and experts and solve it first.

If your basics will be cleared then you can understand other topics easily.

now follow your study plan and complete your preparation. At last, revise all the syllabus and give your exam with free mind.

Hope the above strategy will help you to crack the exam.

Best of luck.

Shoaib Akhtar 1st Jun, 2019
Hey amit
It is quite difficult for you to get admissions at this rank .It would be better if you have also mentioned your number in IIT jam chemistry paper.but yes chances are very less .You can also check some NITs as per your marks . It is difficult for you to get NITs as well. The cutoff rank remains very low .Ie less than 2000 ,however you are a sc candidate so check out the marks of the previous year cutoffs for better understanding

Im bsc biochemistry third year student ..I want to do msc in iit.is iits opt msc biochemistry??if so could u tell me the syllabus?

Hi Fathima

If you wish to enter into IITs, you need to clear either JAM or GATE. But in IITs, they offer M.Sc in Chemistry, not in Biochemistry.

Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology course is offered by IIT Delhi.

But JAM and GATE deadlines for applications are over, so you can apply for other institutes which provide high-quality education like,

  • TIFR
  • NCBS
  • IISER
  • IISC

All the best.

Hi,

For General/OBC (NCL) category students the minimum marks will be 55 percent marks or 5.5 out of 10 aggregate in languages and subsidiaries of all the years combined. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST and PwD categories must have secured 50 percent or 5.0 out of 10 aggregate. You can find more information on IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria by clicking on the link provided.

Good luck!
