About IGKV CET 2024

IGKV CET 2024 - Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya will conduct the IGKV PG CET for admission to PG courses. Aspirants can register for IGKV CET 2024 for admissions to a number of postgraduate programmes such as M.Sc. Agriculture, M.Sc. Forestry, MBA Agri-Business Management, M.Sc. Horticulture, and M.Tech. Agriculture Engineering. The Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya will conduct the IGKV CET 2024 in offline mode. The IGKV will release the IGKV CET application form in May 2024. Candidates must register before they start the IGKV CET application process. The PG CET will involve 200 multiple-choice, objective-type questions with no negative marking and consists of 200 marks. There will be separate IGKV PG CET question papers for Forestry and Agriculture under the Faculty of Agriculture, as well as for the Faculty of Horticulture and Agricultural Engineering. There will be no re-checking and re-totaling of the IGKV PG CET 2024 answer keys. The OMR sheets of the PG CET will be scanned and evaluated by the system in order to prepare a common merit list for all PG programmes.

What is IGKV CET 2024?

The IGKV CET (Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Common Entrance Test) is an entrance exam for admission into various postgraduate (PG) programmes offered by Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV). The IGKV PG CET test will be conducted annually and is open to all Indian nationals. IGKV PG CET will be conducted in offline mode and consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs) from the relevant subject. The IGKV PG CET exam is conducted across multiple centres around the country and the score is also valid for other universities. (Hon.) Forestry candidates under the 10+2+4 system are not available, the candidates with B.Sc. (Ag.)/B.Sc. (Horticulture) passed under a 10+2+4 system with minimum O.G.P.A. of 6.00 out of 10 point scale or 60% in marks will be considered. However, B.Sc. (Ag.), B.Sc. (Horticulture) admitted to this course have to opt for compulsory non-credit deficiency courses of Forestry. The minimum duration of the degree program will be of 2 years.

IGKV CET 2024 Application Process

Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya will release the IGKV CET 2024 application form in April 2024. The application form for IGKV PG CET 204 will be available online on the university website. On the home page, click on the ‘PG Admission’ button.
Read the instructions carefully and click on ‘Proceed to Apply’ button.

Create a Login ID and Password for your account and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
On the next page, select the course you wish to apply for and click on ‘Continue’.
Enter your academic details such as qualifying exam, year of passing, marks obtained etc.
Upload your passport size photograph and signature in the specified format.
Pay the application fee either through online mode.
