The eligibility criteria to appear for GAT-B is course specific and it is as follows

M.VSc Animal Biotechnology
You haven't mentioned the name of the course you are currently pursuing. But you must pass in the qualifying examination. So you will not be eligible if you are in the final year or pre final year of the qualifying examination. But GAT-B 2021 notification is not yet released. It might get delayed so by the time the notification is released if you pass in qualifying examination you can apply for GAT-B provided you must fulfill the above mentioned eligibility criteria.

Hello STudent ,The regional centre of biotechnology under the biotechnology department ,Government of India Gat b is taken in the national level .
The regional centre for biotechnology will publish the application form for Gat b in the month of May 2021. Admit card will be released in the month of June 2021. The Gat b exam will be held in the month of July 2021. For appearing Gat b exam 2021 candidate has to be from the science stream and Have a BSc physics or mathematics or chemistry or biology or biotechnology. With 60% marks . Gat b exam is taken For 1221 seats in 62 PG courses in 34 participating universities or institutions. Through this gate B exam candidates can take admission in MSC agriculture biotechnology, MSc biotechnology, m tech biotechnology, MSc in veterinary science.

The GAT-B question paper is as follows. The time for the paper is 3 hours (180 minutes) and is Online (CBT) mode. There are total two sections A and B. Part A consist of 60 compulsory questions and 1 marks for each correct answer with Negative marking of ½ marks for each incorrect answer. The question paper of GAT-B 2021 section b consists of 100 multiple type questions, out of which the candidates must attempt 60 questions. The marking scheme will be three marks are awarded for every correct answer whereas one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

The Gratitude Admission Test question paper for biotechnology consists of two parts- Part A and Part B.
The Part A of the Examination consists of questions from physics chemistry and biology from class 12th standard level with each consisting of one marks each and a total of 60 questions. The part B consists of questions from the Biotechnology stream itself.

The official date for GAT-B 2021 entrance examination is not yet notified. The official notification regarding GAT-B 2021 entrance examination is not yet released. We cannot predict if GAT-B entrance examination will be postponed or not as the schedule is not yet published. Last year GAT- B was scheduled on June 30, 2021 but this year the schedule may vary. Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT0B) is an entrance exam for admission to M.Sc, M.Tech and MV.Sc Biotechnology. The eligibility criteria is program specific and it is given below

The candidate must have passed bachelor's degree in 10+2+3 pattern in the respective field with a minimum 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
The candidate must have passed B.E/B.Tech degree in the respective stream with a minimum aggregate laid by the participating university.
The candidate must have passed B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree or a equivalent degree from a recognized university with at least 60% aggregate marks or minimum CGPA of 6.60 in 10.00 scale or 2.60 in 4.00 scale ( for general category). For candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST) must score minimum 50% aggregate marks or 5.60 in 10.00 scale, 2.20 in 4.00 scale. You have not mentioned the course you are studying currently so it is difficult to tell you if you are eligible for GAT-B or not. Please check the above mentioned eligibility criteria.
