Class 12
Hello,
This year there is no minimum percentage requirement to be scored in 10+2 examination to get admission to B.Tech in NITs. The minimum percentage requirement is relaxed for admission to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs. To get admission to NITs in B.Tech a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects. You can still get admission to B.Tech in NIT this year even if you haven't scored 75% marks as there is no minimum percentage requirement provided you must have valid JEE Main score.
For admission to B.Arch in NITs/IIITs/GFTIs based on JEE Main Paper 2A score a candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics individually and also 50% marks in aggregate of the qualifying examination. To be eligible for admission to For B. Planning, the candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with 50 % marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate of the qualifying examination. The admission will be based on marks scored in JEE Main paper 2B.
Hi,
Students should get 33 percentage of marks in every theory papers. CBSE has declared 12th result lately. You may find RT in your Physics and Chemistry.
RT means repeat theory.
According to the marking students have to get minimum qualifying marks in both theory and practical in order to pass 12th board exam.
It means you haven't scored the passing marks in your theory paper. Hence you have to repeat your Physics and Chemistry theory papers. As per CBSE Pass Criteria, you have to secure 33% marks each in theory and practicals separately. So, if unfortunately you fail in Physics and Chemistry theory, you can give COMPARTMENT exam. Compartment exam is an exam conducted by CBSE for giving an opportunity for students who have failed in their exams for writing it again. Students can appear for the compartment exam and improve their scores.
So you can write the exam and pass those two subjects.
Hope this helps
