Class 12
Hello Bisma, according to your query you have taken an additional subject and have got standard marks in it but have nearly passed a subject. For your information the aggregate result is calculated in the following manner:
Aggregate %age = (Sum of marks secured in all registered subjects/ Sum of total marks in all the subjects)*100
And remember no poor performance in a subject is replaced by an alternative subject as there is no such provision by any academic board. I'll give you an example, let's suppose you have 5 subjects and have got 75,78,81,83 in four, 36 in one and 95 in the higher score additional subject out of 100 marks, so according to the formula your aggregate becomes:
A = (75+78+81+83+36+95/600)*100 = 74.6%
And remember it never happens that they substitute a score with another and leave the lesser score. Rather additional subjects are there to improve overall score when best utilised. Hope it helps, thanks!
CBSE board provides and opportunity for students for the improvement of their exams they already written. The CBSE 12th compartment exam 2022 will be held from August 23, 2022. one cannot appear for CBSE improvement exams after two years of the qualifying year. A candidate who has passed the Class XII examination of the Board may re-appear for improvement of performance in one or more subjects in the main examination in the succeeding year only.
Students eligible include: Students who are not satisfied with their marks obtained per the new evaluation scheme stipulated by the CBSE Board. As per this policy, marks obtained in the later exam will be considered final. Also the students who failed to get qualifying marks can also improve.

Hello Pratibha,
As per the revised JEE Main eligibility criteria 2022, 75% of criteria is removed for NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs Admission, Candidates just need to pass class 12 irrespective of percentage.
But in order to take admission in IITs, you need to score at least 75 percentage in 12th standard Board examination. And yes you will easily get IITs and NITs at 99.9 percentile. For that you need to prepare well.

Thank you, I hope this information is relevant to you. If you have any such queries, you can ask here only.
This year there is no minimum percentage requirement to be scored in 10+2 examination to get admission to B.Tech in NITs. The minimum percentage requirement is relaxed for admission to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs. To get admission to NITs in B.Tech a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects. You can still get admission to B.Tech in NIT this year even if you haven't scored 75% marks as there is no minimum percentage requirement provided you must have valid JEE Main score.
For admission to B.Arch in NITs/IIITs/GFTIs based on JEE Main Paper 2A score a candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics individually and also 50% marks in aggregate of the qualifying examination. To be eligible for admission to For B. Planning, the candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with 50 % marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate of the qualifying examination. The admission will be based on marks scored in JEE Main paper 2B.
Hi,
Students should get 33 percentage of marks in every theory papers. CBSE has declared 12th result lately. You may find RT in your Physics and Chemistry.
RT means repeat theory.
According to the marking students have to get minimum qualifying marks in both theory and practical in order to pass 12th board exam.
It means you haven't scored the passing marks in your theory paper. Hence you have to repeat your Physics and Chemistry theory papers. As per CBSE Pass Criteria, you have to secure 33% marks each in theory and practicals separately. So, if unfortunately you fail in Physics and Chemistry theory, you can give COMPARTMENT exam. Compartment exam is an exam conducted by CBSE for giving an opportunity for students who have failed in their exams for writing it again. Students can appear for the compartment exam and improve their scores.
So you can write the exam and pass those two subjects.
Hope this helps
