If you want to earn early in your life you can go B.Tech. You might have heard that everyone is doing B.Tech. and avg. package is 2-3LPA. You just need to get a good engineering college with good branch like(cse,ece,ee,it) in India i.e. tier-1 colleges like IITs/NITs/IIITs/BITS/DTU etc.

Almost all the competitive entrance exams occurs before12th board results, and they don't need 12th marks in the application form. So, yes sure you can fill up the application form without any concern. If you don't pass the minimum 12th percentage criteria for a university they won't allow

see most of the candidates in iits who are pursuing msc courses opt for phd or research fellowship or go for lecturer position in reputed college, as for your 1 year gap, i does not matter since mncs company permit 1 year gap between educations. now comig to placement
