Im got 63./. in class 12 cbse board and I am belong sc category so Im came in top 20 percentile to get admission in nits

rehan18alam Student Expert 27th Mar, 2020

As per the eligibility criteria, aspiring candidates need to either secure at least 75% aggregate marks (for Gen Category) in the class XII (or equivalent)and 65% aggregate marks (for SC, ST and PwD candidates) or they should be in category-wise top 20-percentile in their respective class XII (or equivalent) board examination. This means that in order to be eligible for IIT admissions , the candidates need to fulfil either of the two eligibility requirements.

Therefore in your case, you are not eligible for advanced and top 20 percentile criteria.

Thank you.
