Hello Aspirant, You have mention your Category as Economically Weaker Section(EWS) at the time of form filling, then only you will be alloted seat in the EWS category, and after that you have to show your EWS certificate at the time of Counselling at the reporting centre.You can't directly show your certificate at the reporting centre and ask to give seat in EWS category.so,you can't get benefits of EWS by directly providing at the reporting centre.you will get benefits of EWS certificate only if you have mentioned it in your application form then only you will be asked to show your certificate.

First Focus on your Preparation. Just follow the syllabus and give 5 to 6 hours daily with proper revision.
The topics that will be tested are Current Affairs on International and National Events, Bihar’s Economic Development after Independence, History of India with emphasis on Bihar’s History, Geography of Bihar – Main Geographical Divisions and Chief Rivers, Indian Independence Movement and Bihar’s Contribution.
For General Science, Geography (General Studies of Geography), Indian Polity and Economics basic level study is sufficient.
It also include a Mental Ability Test which is basic level aptitude questions.
Now the mains consists of 4 parts
Hindi - 100 marks
General Studies 1 - 300 marks
GS 02 - 300 marks

As per the eligibility criteria, aspiring candidates need to either secure at least 75% aggregate marks (for Gen Category) in the class XII (or equivalent)and 65% aggregate marks (for SC, ST and PwD candidates) or they should be in category-wise top 20-percentile in their respective class XII (or equivalent) board examination. This means that in order to be eligible for IIT admissions , the candidates need to fulfil either of the two eligibility requirements.
Therefore in your case, you are not eligible for advanced and top 20 percentile criteria.
