i have geography subject in class 12 and i scored well in that subject but maths and science was not my subject in class 12 . so can i get admission in jadavapur university for bsc in geography?

Mibin Mathew Mammen 19th May, 2020

Dear Aarzoo,

Thank you for your query. I am sorry to tell you but according to the admission website of the Jadavpur University you need to have 70% in a Science component including Geography to get admission for Jadavpur University. I think you can try for admission to Madras Christian College as it does not require you to have a science component to get eligible.

i am class 12..my subject combination is geography, biology, nutrition and computer application..can i apply for gnm in 2021 batch?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th May, 2020
To be eligible for studying GNM, you should have completed your 12th with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as your core subjects. But among these, you only have Biology as a Core subject and the rest are non Science subjects. And so unfortunately, you might not be eligible for studying GNM.

what should i do if i have science stream in class 12 but i want to have arts in college?

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 17th May, 2020
Hello.
If you are a science student and you have done your class 12th in the same stream and now you want to pursue bachelor course in art in your college that is is very easy you don't need to do anything you will have to just apply for the course in your selected University/College, and simply after getting selection you can do it but still in the starting level you will face some difficulties because you don't have knowledge of the subject which you should had in your class 11th and 12th so you will start directly from advance topic in your bachelor so for this you can brush up yourself and do hard work by doing some extra reading.
Best of luck.

what is the admission schedule for year 2020-21 date wise for BBA course in National Rail Transport Institute Vadodara.Exam of class 12 th bd is rescheduled & will be conducted in July first week.Is class 12 bd appearing yr student is eligible to give entrance test for BBA Any changes due to COVID

Sk Student Expert 5th Jun, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

We hope you have already registered for the NRTI Online Examination and if you have not done so, it is still available till 13/06/2020. With the current Covid situation, you will be notified of the rescheduling but make sure you are registered first, as sometimes the websites are not updated immediately.  They should issue the Admit Card by third week of June and then you will be notified of the test date.

Also if your 12th standard examination has been delayed, you can still appear for the examination but you will have to prove your eligibility at the time of admission.  Since the admissions are based on their own test, its results matter more for the time being.  All you need to get is 55% in your 10+2 with Mathematics as one of your subjects.

Good Luck

in class 12 exams, for calculating Aggregate marks are the marks of practical exams counted? if i got 325 marks out of 650 total marks, will my Aggretate marks be 50% ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th May, 2020
Hi

To calculate your percentage you have to take total marks i.e Practical+ Theory.

Now your marks total obtained by you =325

Total marks of the subjects in examination =650

Then,

Your percentage

= 325/650 * 100

= 50%

So, yes you have got 50% in your class 12th board examination
