Hi, i am studying in class 12 (pcmb) and iam appearing in NEET exam and , later can i join bsc computer science course

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 11th Jun, 2020

Imran, yes. By the virtue of studying Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as your core subjects in your 12th, you can take up either Biology or Mathematics as the foundation of your future. You can appear for NEET also study B.Sc Computer Science. But if you are preparing for NEET, depending on your Category you will need atleast 550 and above for a seat in a Medical College. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/. Sharon Rose Student Expert 11th Jun, 2020

Hello,

If you are yet to appear in Maths exam from NIOS you are considered as appearing candidate. And yes if you have passed Mathematics from NIOS you can carry two marksheets if you qualify in the exam and shortlisted for SSB interview. You don't have to upload your marksheet or enter your marks. You need to do that at the time of SSB Interview document verification. You won't have any problem,

class 12 pcb student which path is require for appearing upsc exam .And pcb student which subject is requiring in B.A for upsc exam.

Pritam Singh 11th Jun, 2020

Hey there

A simple graduation is all you need to sit for UPSC civil services if you are talking about civil services no matter from which stream. You can take any subject in your graduation but if you want to pursue BA I'll recommend history, geography will be best as in interview you can't be cross questioned as why you want to change your profession after graduation also you will be completing some syllabus of upsc during BA. But it's completely your choice what you want to choose.

Good luck

Dear Candidates,

To get admission in IIT's  or NIT's  you should score at least 75% for Gen Category  in board exam and 65% aggregate marks (for SC, ST and PwD candidates) otherwise  you should at least come in top 20% percentile in particular board.

To get admission in such college you have to clear entrance exam some entrance exam conduct itself by DU or some national level exam also there and you have to score good rank to get admission. So apply for entrance exam to get admission.

As you want to study cse or ece you have go to Btech degree so the total fees  was around 7 to 8 lakh . The hostel fees in DU differ from college to college . Some college demand fees around 15-20k per annum. So it depend totally on colleges.

To get seat under 85% state quota in Tamilnadu you must hold the domicile of Tamilnadu and the applicant or their parents must reside in Tamilnadu for 5 years continuously. You need to submit the domicile certificate at the time of counselling to claim state reservations without that you cannot get admission under 85% state quota.

I get 91% in class 12. Now i decided to do Bcom hons. Can i get admission in North campus of DU with 91% ? I am a student of General category

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 20th Jul, 2020

hi,

see Delhi university is one of the best university in India, every year numerous students apply for delhi university for various ug courses, almost 80+ colleges is under delhi university which offers courses of bsc, b.com, b.a based on 12th score. now you must know that there is a single admission form available in du official website , where you need to fill the details of admission process and as per your choices. now you must satisfy all the eligibility criteria mentioned as per the courses, the aggregate marks for selection will be made taking one language subject and any other best three subject which has highest score in 12th score.

B.Com. (Hons.) - candidates must secure an aggregate of 60% or more in English/Hindi and a combination of the best three among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/ Commerce. inclusion  of any subject other than mentioned above mentioned subject  in the combination of best three would  lead to a deduction of 1% per subject on the aggregate, with a maximum net deduction of 2%.

Inclusion of any subject other than the mentioned subject in the combination of the best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per subject on the aggregate of the Best Four. additional eligibility criteria is 50% or more marks in Mathematics/Business Mathematics.

now cutoff score changes every year and depends on number of participants in the admission, seat matrix, students category etc.

you may use careers360 du college predictor tool to know about your probable colleges,
