To appear for UPCATET in B.Sc (Agriculture) you need to atleast pass Intermediate from either PCB, PCM or PCMB. And cutoff for UPCATET for General Candidates is 20% of the maximum marks, that is 120/600 marks in UPCATET and you will be able to clear the cutoff. UPCATET is a state level entrance exam for admission in various UG, PG, Diploma dn PhD courses.The UG courses are

• B.Sc(hons) Agriculture
• B.Sc(hons) Horticulture
• B.Sc(hons)Forestry
• B.Sc(hons) Home Science/community Science (only for girls)
• Bachelor is Fisheries Science(B.F.Sc )

These are all the UG courses offered.You cannot get admission in B.tech through this entrance test.For admission in B.tech you can appear in JEE main, UPSEE or any other University level entrance exam.

The UP Combined Agriculture And Technology Entrance Test is an exam conducted to the students of UP in different UG and PG programs in some colleges in UP like Sardar Vallabhai Patel college Meerut etc . It is a state exam conducted every year and it is a pen & paper based test conducted for three hours . Very few people know about this exam and because of this the competition is relatively less than other exams. Just basic  math, physics and chemistry, and basic general knowledge. You can easily pass this entrance exam.

Mostly, Students who want to go with agriculture field opt for this exam.

There are four groups in UPCATET Exam and those are- PCB, PCM, PHS and PAG.

PCB Group can take admission in subjects such as Bsc in Agriculture, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, Forestry and Veterinary Science while candidates applying for PCM group can get admission in Agriculture, Horticulture, Home Science and B.Tech programs.

PAG Group - Agriculture, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, Forestry, and B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering and Biotechnology subjects.

PHS Group in UPCATET offers only admission in B.Sc Home Science.

Yes,you can fill the form if you have completed your 12th in 2017 and with additional subject in 2018 as the age limit is,the candidates age should be between 16 year to 22 year for General and OBC candidates and for ST/SC age limit can be extended for upto 5 more years.

Under eligibility criteria following things are mentioned

• Candidate must pass:

1. BSc (Honours) Agriculture/ BSc (Honours) Horticulture/ BSc (Honours) Forestry
2. Bachelor in Fisheries Science (BBFSc
3. BSc (Honours) Home Science
4. In all the above programs students should must have 60%  and also in 12th standard

• As on December 31, 2020, candidates should be more than 16 years and less than 22 years in age.
• For BVSc&H course, candidates should be minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years in age as on December 31, 2020.
