PES University will conduct two rounds of PESSAT 2021 counselling out of which the first round started on September 4th. The dates for PESSAT counselling 2021- Round 2 is not declared yet but is expected to release soon.

During the second round counselling of PESSAT 2021, KCET/COMEDK qualified candidates will be able to apply for admissions by registering for Casual Vacancy admissions. Candidates will have to enter their KCET or COMEDK UGET score to participate in the counselling session. If the candidate has attempted both the exams, then both the scores have to be submitted and the better of two scores will be taken into consideration by the authorities.

PES University will conduct 2nd round of PESSAT 2021 counselling on November 13 & 14. Candidates have to participate in the PESSAT counselling 2021 according to the schedule. PESSAT seat allotment will be done on the basis of the ranks of candidates in PESSAT exam, their preferences and availability of seats. There are only two phases of counselling. The demand drafts have to be produced after the PESSAT counselling registration process is completed.

Hope you are doing well, As you've mentioned that your engineering ranking  in kcet 2021 is 1917,which is really good. Yes, with this rank you have chances of getting  cse seat in PESU, Electronic city campus. According to previous year data, the kcet cutoff for cse branch in PESU is around 3700. Hence this year also it will be below 2500, So you can get seat with your ranking, Wait & try for all rounds.

The pessat is different from the kcet both will not same in terms of exam or counseling

The seat allotment in ECE for 2 nd counseling is very hard inthis scenario if the student will drop or do not submit the allotment order the ranks between the last rank and your rank will be alloted if no one applies for the college then it may be allocated to you

I would suggest that KCET and JEE Mains score is widely expected in colleges across Karnataka for all courses so there should be no requirement to give college specific exams as colleges reserve most of their seats for these exam itself and you will have good enough chances to get a branch and college of your choice through these exams.

I would suggest better not to participate in the counselling rank with the mentioned rank. As per the past trends, under general merit quota you have descent chances only for Civil engineering. There is also some probability for mechanical engineering but too slim.

See if you have interest in civil engineering, you can go through but if there are plans to participate in hope of any vacant seats or chances in core branches then most probably you will be disappointed. Congratulations on your success in PESSAT 2021. You have obtained quite a descent rank but your chances of getting ECE at the main campus is intermediate.
