According to previous years cut off analysis you have no-meagre chances of getting cs at pes, pes university cs branch faces a very stiff competition , cut off rank for pes goes upto 800 generally for round 1 and for round 2 it extends max to max upto 900-1000 so there might not be chances of getting cs although you can probably get civil, biotech (cut off rank goes b/w 2500-3500)with this rank

Thanks for your query. Your pessat rank that is 5700 is very high for computer science in PES university. Even after second round of counselling there is a slightest chance that you'll get civil or mechanical engineering in pes university as the cutoffs are generally very high.

CSE and ISE are most sought branches in PES and afterall PES is one of the prestigeuos private colleges for engineering.

So, as far as CSE is concerned the last years trend says that the closing rank for the same is near about 700.

and so is for ISE too!

That is the closing rank would be near about 1K.

but it wont get down to 6854 for sure.

Venkata, it seems really difficult for you to get admission in PES University.

Usually they stop taking students for admission after 3k rank in the final round. But it depends on the number of studens who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper. So you can still give it a try.

Congratulations on that amazing rank! I can u the  statistics. Last year CSE at PES closed at 920 in the 1st round of counselling. So you really have a very good chance in making it to this college. Feel free to ask if any doubts persist.

Peoples Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) 2019 consists of 120-180 questions, depending on the course. For B.Tech, there are 180 questions (Mathematics-60, Physics-60, Chemistry-40, English-20) and total time is 180 minutes. Study 12th standard PCM and only grammar for English. The time for all other courses is 120 minutes. BBA has 120 questions(English Comprehensive / Verbal Ability-30, Analytical & Logical Reasoning-45, Quantitative Reasoning-45). B.Des Basic has following sections: Knowledge of Colors and Form, General Knowledge, Sensitivity to Aspects of Typography, Spatial Sense, Ability to Visualize/ Imagine, 3D Visualization, Free-Hand Sketching, Interpreting Natural Laws and Basic Engineering, Basic English, Basic Analytical Ability. M.Tech paper consists of 120 questions (Mathematics-60, Analytical & Logical Ability-20, Computer Awareness-20, English Comprehension-20). There is no negative marking. Mode of exam is online, except for B.Des. PESSAT 2019 will be conducted from April 25 - May 15, 2019 for B.Tech course and January 10 to July 2019 for other courses.

I am sorry but with this rank you won't get PES CSE. I am not pretty sure if the admissions are done in management quota,but otherwise merit based,you do not stand a chance. You can check other colleges in Bangalore if you have given COMEDK.
