I got 3370 rank in pessat which branch I will get in pes university

S. Abhishek Sagar 7th Sep, 2020
Hello aspirant

Actually rank 3370 is a good rank, for that rank, you will have more chances to get a seat. You can easily get a seat in civil or biotechnology but it is a bit difficult to get a seat in desired branch that is top branches such a CSE, ECE etc. But also we can't predict anything, you may also get into ECE also CSE in 2nd counselling. But in first counselling you have a tough chance for them.

Hope this answer helps you.

All the best!!!

what is the cut off for information science in PES University through pessat examination?

Vineeth Wilson 7th Sep, 2020

Hey,

University KCET cutoff 2020 will be released by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) in the form of opening and closing ranks on its official website. The course-wise, category-wise and gender-wise cutoff will be released once the KCET 2020 exam will be conducted and its results are announced. The page will be updated once the KCET 2020 cutoff for PES University is out. The cutoff for PES University will be released during the counselling after considering the following factors:

  • Number of candidates appeared for KCET
  • The difficulty level of KCET
  • Number of seats available at PES University
  • Previous years’ cutoff trend

Last year the closing rank was 1094 and in 2018 it was 771.

How much should I score(in marks) in pessat exam b tech to secure a rank of 500

PARESH RATHOUR 25th Jul, 2020

Hello

It is very hard to predict the score at a rank of 500, because it changes every year and it depends upon totally on various parameters like the difficulties of question, the level of students appearing in the examination for that year. Although scoring more than 90% of the total marks may lead to getting a rank under 500.

For more details you can check this link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/pessat

Hey! The PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) is organized by PES university, and most of the candidates apply for this examination every year. The closing rank for CSE was almost 770 in merit-B category and 120 in merit-A category. But the seats in merit A are very few.  This data is flexible and is not accurate the ranks are a rough figure just for estimation. Hope this may help you.

pes institute of technology is come under comedk? Pessat is different quota?

Aniket Prasad 21st Aug, 2020

Hi,

PES does take admission in their Undergraduate (B.tech) course on the basis of both ComedK as well as Pessat. All other courses take admission through Pessat only. There are three different channels for the admission in b.tech in PES University, Pessat, KCet as well as foriegn/NRI students.

This is what official site says as admission eligibility for B.tech " 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent in science stream from a recognized board. Test Scores in PESSAT (National level exam) or KCET (State level exam) required.  "
