According to previous year trend you will get ECE or Civil both in the PES university generally ECE close on 5160 and civil is close on 20,000. But chance og getting ECE is quite tough. But don't worry this is the data which is based on previous year.  Every year data is changed and category is also be considered.

As your PESSAT rank is 5470 and if we see previous year cut off of PES University then there seem chances of yours to get Biotechnology in PES University. The rank you obtained comes under the previous year closing rank which was required to be eligible for admission.
