Congratulations on such a phenomenal performance in PESSAT 2021. You have good chances of making it to CSE branch at the institution, though it can't be assured.

As per the past year trends and cutoffs, seats for CSE are filled between 800-1000 ranks but it is also to be noted that the intakes are limited based on PESSAT ranks as admissions are also offered through KCET and management/NRI quota.

You should get other courses including ECE,EEE comfortably and as per my opinion definitely participate in counseling procedure as PES is full of opportunities irrespective of branches. You should absolutely go for counselling and its a pretty good rank. Even if you could not manage to get the cse branch you will definitely get other non core branches.

Pessat is strong in its non core placements. Companies like microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, cognizant,wipro, Infosys comes for its recruitment. Many other consulting and analysis firms also comes for placements.

PESSAT 2019 Result has been declared on 27th May 2019 for B.Tech course. PES Scholastic Aptitude Test is conducted by the PES University for all India candidates. The examination will be conducted in the various cities of India. The exam is a gateway to get admission in various UG & PG professional courses.

cut off ranges around 800-1000 for cse, it is difficult to join cse branch in the university, you have a decent rank you should give it a try, Hope this helps

After the analysis of last year cutoff ranks in councelling of PES University it is about 1500 in 1st round.

College can go for multiple round of councelling for giving admissions to qualified student.

so if you get 1580  rank then you can easily get admission in pes university on this rank in 2nd round councelling.

PESSAT does not have particular campus wise cut off.  Seats are counted in total and based on merit ranks they get filled stream wise. The overall cut off for PESSAT Examination for the year 2019, Engineering stream wise for General Category are

• Electrical & Electronic Engineering. - 5623.

I am sorry to inform you that you won't be getting eee stream. It is because the closing rank at the second round will itself be around 2200. So the chances of getting eee is null. But there is lots of assurance that you will be getting civil or mechanical. Dont lose hope.
