Hey there!
First of all, Congratulations on getting a good rank!
And yes, you can get any branch that you are interested in KIITEE.
According to NIRF ranking, both of the colleges are good .
Some of the key points we can compare are:
PLACEMENT OF KIIT
since its inception .It has an impeccable record in Placement is one of the advantages that KIIT offers campus placement. KIIT has always been much favored talent hunting ground for corporate world as it delivers industry-ready students. A well organized placement team streamlines the recruitment process and students get the jobs of their choice.
Life at KIIT is more than just lectures and study sessions. Students get a plenty of excuses to take a well-earned break from books. Our packed calendar of events and activities means a new friend is never far away.
At KIIT, students have a meaningful learning experience while enjoying all that university life has to offer. University is important, but it should also be a time to make friends and have great experiences outside the classroom. That’s why – along with libraries, lecture theaters and Wi-Fi hotspots – all of our campuses offer places to socialise, get a coffee and hang out during leisure. Soaking up the university atmosphere, meeting friends and reflecting on your classes are valuable take- aways of the student experience.
MANIPAL UNIVERSITY:
THE MANIPAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MIT), MANIPAL WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1957 AS ONE OF THE FIRST SELF-FINANCING ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN THE COUNTRY
1. The Top engineering streams like CSE, IT, Mech, ECE, EEE of MIT are as good as NIT's ( not the top most). 2. It has only merit based seats and no management quota, while almost half of the intake in KIIT is from management quota. 3. All india exam MU-OET tends to bring in good students. 4. Campus life , facilities and alumni makes it one of the best private universities in the country. 5. It has decent placement records , And certainly the best college life.
6. Brand name for MIT is better even at overseas.
Finally, both the colleges are better in their own ways. But in terms of placements, Manipal is better whereas in terms of fee, KIITEE is better.
Hope this helps...Have a nice day!
