I got 79.7 percentile in KIITEE phase 1 and got into electronics and telecommunications and in phase 2 I got 93.66 percentile so can I appear for counseling again and will my branch be upgraded ? What will be my rank in phase 2?

Aditya 21st Jun, 2021

Hi Disha,

Congratulations for your stellar performance in KIITEE. Yes, you can surely upgrade your branch to higher ones such as computer science and engineering or IT. Phase 2 of the counselling has no resemblence with the past one and results would be solely formed on the basis of scores obtained in this examination.

The rank list would be prepared only after conclusion of all three phases and it would not be appropriate to predict your rank now.

Hope it helps!!

I got 99.6060 percentile in KIITEE phase 2 , Can I do the same in JEE main, because there I am stuck at 95?

Soumili Majumdar 21st Jun, 2021
Hello there,
Yes, obviously you can upgrade your percentile from 95 to 99 in JEE Mains. You need to do a little more hard work. Since you have done so well, it shows your preparation is quite good. Now you need to do the last few steps to get such great results. Solve the previous year question papers again and again. Give mock tests regularly. Figure out the areas where you are losing marks and work on them to grab some extra marks which will boost your percentile to 99. Believe in yourself, only you can motivate yourself. So never think that you can't.
