As you have secured 3.1k rank in iit jam and considering you are from obc category let me tell you that there are less chances for you to get into nits like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad, rourkela, Calicut, Trichy, warangal, surathkal.
Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing good..!!!
I might want to let you know that, taking a gander at the earlier year IIT JAM cutoff for Integrated Phd course, ...the opportunities for you to help confirmation in Integrated Phd through IIT Tough situation, with this position, will be minimal troublesome. Further, if it's not too much trouble, note that the above forecast is exclusively founded on earlier year cutoff and it bound to fluctuate each as it relies upon different elements.
In light of the last year IIT JAM cutoff,....Students who get confirmation for Int-PhD in Physics at foundations like IISc, IISER Pune, or IISER Kolkata score nice imprints in IIT-Predicament. You ought to have a position under 300 in the event that you need affirmation at IISc. The necessary end for IISER Pune stays under 500. For IISER Kolkata, you will require a position under 700 .
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee will deliver the 1 st IIT JAM 2022 opening and shutting rank on June 1 at jam.iitr.ac.in.
Hope this information helps you!!!
All the best!!!

Dear student,
**Central Government issued Caste Certificate is different from State Government issued Caste Certificate, it is because there are different Caste Categories in different States. Only Castes which are listed in Central are only given Caste Certificate through it is in State list and it is not in Central list then you cannot get Central issued Caste Certificate.
**For National level exams or Central level jobs, etc Central issued Caste Certificate is must. You cannot upload State issued Caste Certificate in place of Central issued Caste Certificate. For most of the State level entrance exams, State Government jobs, etc Central issued Caste Certificate is valid in most of the States.
**As you are talking about IIT JAM, it is a National level entrance exam which requires Central issued Caste Certificate. You are not supposed to submit State issued Caste Certificate.
**Also the Caste Category must be Central issued and it must be for the year 2022 to 2023 which is issued as per the guidelines of IIT Jam.
I hope this information was helpful to you.
Good Luck!!

Cut off means the minimum marks required for a student in order to cross the threshold of passing the examination. Now the score you are mentioning about the Economics paper in IIT JAM is good score and its good for getting newer IIT's if you are an UNRESERVED Student. The rank you can expect may lie in between 340-600. The variation is dependent on the type of students attempted, but this is the past year trend wise analysis.
